Artifact of the Week 20240315 - Youth Leadership Training at Philmont Part 2

It's part two of our look at Youth Leadership Training here at Philmont. From 1974 to 1981 Youth Leadership Training took a hiatus from Philmont's program offerings. When it returned in 1981, the training resembled earlier training programs and focused on the Trainer and not the Learner. Then in 2006, a new training program called NAYLE was introduced at Rocky Mountain Scout Camp. In 2013, NAYLE moved from RMSC to the New Rayado Ridge Leadership Camp. In 2024, Philmont will welcome a new Youth Leadership training program with the NYLT Leadership Academy.
