I do plan on covering the stuff i can find info on, plastic gen especially is very hard to find comp info on because youtube wasn't really a thing and most of the small sites that had anything on it are long gone.
Love learning about Beyblade's history. Awesome video! I have to say, I mostly grew up on metal fight and didn't give burst much of a chance until I heard the news from Illinuc that TT wanted beyblade to be like pokemon. I realized I had to change my mindset and look at beyblade as a chance to see new characters/generations like Beyblade X everytime going forward and it's helped a lot. I can actually see why everyone likes Valt's character. Although burst has its ups and downs, they did very well with his character. Making him relevant while not even being the world champion is the kind of storytelling I love. I have to agree with your main characters video, I personally love Ginga still, but his character was not as well written as Tyson or Valt which is disappointing in retrospect but a part of the process of making better storylines. I really hope they do well with Bird's character as well as Multi's character. Awesome video again. Sorry for the long post.
I remember going to tournaments with different combos of a dragoon attack type beyblade only to get banned in one tournament because I used a solid circle weight disk with no edges. Completely smooth. Beat everyone no problem.
@@nizumablader yeah. Us kids used to battle each other for it around my neighborhood. It was our grand prize only to learn it was an illegal weight disk
This video is GUD. This will be super useful for teaching my buddies all about the history of Beyblade. If you ever decided to do a video like this for Metal Fight and Burst when it ends, Iook forward to it! ^_^
My first Beyblade was Frostic Dranzer. We swung by Toys"R"Us ln the way to my brother's track meet and I saw the art for the Bit Chip on the corner of the box
They should really reprint those first 3 beys as burst beyblades for the fans that have been around from the start. I haven't heard of them so I brought it up. I love that they did so for the first series with the Bladebreaker's beys and Metal Fight's Beys.
For your videos where you turn mfb stuff into attack types, why do you always use RF and not R2F? You have shown Samurai Pegasus and Galaxy Pegasus before.
Most people may think seasons 1 and 3 are peak, but I feel like season 2 had the highest stakes. Just think about it, every time the blade breakers would turn around there would be somebody trying to steal their bit-beasts, and three out of four members lost their bit-beasts. Not to mention the Cyber Bit-Beasts arc, which probably gave us arguably the best beyblade battle of all time (it's very debatable imo cause Kai and Brooklyn's final battle is also just top tier), that being Dragoon vs Cyber Dragoon. V-Force is the goat of all spinning top anime.
Season 2 gave the bit beasts themselves a lot of focus and it was rather nice. It weighed on the fact on how important they were & how close the connection between the blader and their bit beast was. And that extends outside of the Bladebreakers too, Saint Shields also had a connection to their bit beasts, as do the other antagonists/opposing parties as well - just that there it was either a forced unhealthy connection, meaningless 'it's just a tool/means for more power', or such. King & Queen cared a bit more for their beys than their bit beasts, but even still they had a connection. The only thing about Season 2 is that it Might start seeming a little repetitive at times. I got enjoyment & nostalgia from my rewatching of it, but found that 1st & 3rd season were a bit more in my park of interests than 2 was. As a kid I Loved the bit beast, and still do (part of the reason me and a friend of mine weren't as into the 3rd season as kids was the fact the beasts lost their meaning a little), but there was just something about the little culture trivia that Season 1 had, along with the different teams that resonated with me further. Season 3 riding off of that was such fanservice with all the returning characters, and ended up on having some fairly mature plot things to itself too (especially the Japanese one, I recommend watching the subbed versions) + beautiful wraps to some of the character arcs. But all of them have something that I greatly enjoyed, both as a kid and now as an adult Bakuten Shoot Beyblade sure is something special!
The first generation of Beyblades is best without any doubt, beautiful designs and great performance and also there a lot of unique gimmicks that doesn't exist in any other series and it's should come back, and last but not least the anime of the original series was great and had a serious Tone to it and more than that it's respect viewers mind by not being too much childish
Great documentation bro. So what do you all think is better to call first two waves since no one seemed to be interested in the fact Beyblade didn’t start as “Bakuten Shoot”? I used to call them “Beigoma Battle Gen” since there’s non official name for the early system. It’s funny because first MFB wave is called “Pre-Hybrid Wheel” but official name is “Horoscope Series”. I like the “Pre Spin Gear” naming but the Jisedai Beigoma Battle check list includes Spin Gear System beys like Kids Dragoon, Dragoon Storm, Driger S, Bearing Gyros etc… I mean, even when we got the Spin Gear beys released they were still sold under the first Beyblade naming brand. Bakuten Shoot was kinda a soft reboot and the collection restarted with A-1 Dragoon Storm… Should we call only non Spin Gear like “Pre Spin Gear” or should we call the entire line with only one name?
That’s true, to make matters worse a lot of the kids versions of bit beasts were from the second gameboy color game. It complicates things. I honestly have to put some thought into it hahaha.
I should sit down and figure out which beyblades feature bit beasts from the first and second gameboy games and then I guess separate those from the bakuten shoot stuff and see where that leaves everything.
I personally think that MFB could have still be packaged like the Bakuten gen were the plastic parts like face bolt, hybrid wheel, spin track, and bottom (performance tip) are in model kit runners while the metal wheel being inside a plastic along with the stickers. But guess they probably did the packaging that we know to save up materials and knows that not everyone has the patience to build these (but i do). That and as the series goes on the gimmicks became more integrated into the parts (especially Burst S2 beyond), so that'd be difficult to be made into model kit esque packaging.
And I always wondered why beyblade just up and left if it had continued who would of known what would happen. Also I like the HMS system but I hate the down fall which it was the bit protector and running core they break and that was that but they hit hard but once they split apart that game over I've been through 3 driger cause of that unfortunately I got 1 more but I'm not even gonna open it
@@nizumablader yeah I can believe that it was a good concept idk what they should've done for the end of the first generation I did like the bug version but that would've probably be a spin off or a new challenger for a new season
@@nizumablader definitely. That many years without beyblade and when it came back had me all in on it I just wish my mom hadn't threw away me and my brother beys during that time 🥲😅
I am actually currently watching the anime. The generation I got into is burst and I wanted to see it's predecessor. The story is not bad but the voice acting is honestly pretty terrible. There is also some changes to the original material like Dizzi being added and censorship like Wyatt dying.
You could always watch the sub, yeah I mean all the generations have moments of bad or cringy voice acting. Just a common thing with these sorts of anime.
I'd never expected to find out that Beyblade started as a collectible monster game! Great video ✨

It would be so interesting if you made in depth history videos on different eras of beyblade and what the meta looked like
