Yah this and BeyRaiders are definitely the forgotten cousins of Beyblade. And I actually owned a few of each and I can say that both were pretty fun, particularly the BeyRaiders.
ThEsIxMiThIcBeAsTs
Beywarriors is even more forgotten
@Joe Rein heck yah
Shogun steel or whatever it was 💀
@@picklestheomnipotent4535 ikr like where is 2nd season?
My fondest memory of BeyWheels was modding the launcher and putting a left Beyblade core thing for my left rotating Beyblades bc the grip is actually pretty good. And I still have that mod launcher to this day
OMG THAT'S CRAZYYYYY!!! I JUST finished beywheelz last week and am currently (slowly) going through Bey raiders😂
I actually never finished BeyRaiders.😅 Out of the 2, I liked BeyWheelz.
I'm sorry to hear that 😂
I remember these and thinking at the time: "wow big beyblades" and then never thought of them again 😅👍🔥
Cool
Only used them to make spin steal lol
Lol
shogun steel, beywarriors ,beyraiderz
@@Thomastownus0517 nah not shogun steel
I had a couple of these as a kid, and honestly, the most fun I had with them was bringing them to an empty skate park, the ramps there were better than any stadium they could ever make for these things
3:16 card games on motorcycles was awesome. Incredibly stupid no question about it, but also undoubtedly awesome
I wanted to forget about them. Thanks for bringing back some repressed memories. XD
Not gonna lie, I did pick up the main three from Team Estrella when I was younger because my friends and I generated some kind of hype-train for them and I was just THAT GUY who thought he was the main character. And then we just...saw how stupid they were. And never touched them again.
I started collecting beyblades again a few weeks ago and I already have a few beys from different series: plastic generation, metal fight, and burst. It's a pretty safe bet that I won't be touching the wheels at all.
plastic gen? lol maybe I bought my beyblades in a different store, but I had the whole blade breakers, beys made by metal, or aluminum. I do remember most of them were plastic, but the rare ones were hard to beat! I was a kid so I don't remember were exactly I bought them, but they were small and powerful, and yes lol not fake. tho even if they were fake, they were like the anime! better than the originals in this case
You gotta admit tho, the opening for Beywheelz was fire 😂
yes it was!
That's what I was going to say
This series wasnt that bad. I think the concept was cool. They should have tried to keep the series going but with more thought out characters. TBH they could try to bring this back, I enjoyed this concept
Wait till you hear about BeyWarriors
beywheelz concept was good only in anime but in real life it's just doesn't work..
@@vitadude5004 I have to disagree, yeah the anime should work but also I can see the bay wheels working imo just make the area into a dome and reinvent the wheels and it will be good
@@SuperDesmond12 still doesn't gonna work , like it's works in anime..
@@vitadude5004 it’s hot wheels meets beyblade, that was a cool concept but it needed to be retooled
Using beywheelz to bowl with empty waterbottles was a fun way to play with them!
Tbh, I actually adore Beywheels and Beyraiders anime. I that the action is fun, since these Beys have different ways of interacting, and Beyraiders is probably my favourite anime in Beyblade franchise. I think that this show managed to have really good world-building. I enjoyed characters in both shows. I think that they had about the same about of depth as characters in the original Metal Saga, but because the show is smaller, they don't get to annoying or boring.
Also I really like Sho. Something about him beeing, whose motivation at the end of Beywheels is to travel around the multiverse and experience different ways of Bey battles makes me wish that he will return for more adventures really badly. I don't even know why
Beyblade and cars doesnt mix up. I liked beywheels but not the carbey
I had bought a lot of BeyWheelz products and I REALLY enjoyed playing with them ! The material that they were made with felt amazing and premium as hell xD
L
@@alanjoseph1259 Aight bro. Don't let kids have fun I guess
They would be fun to take out obstacles with without the tip breaking because it's a tire instead haha
I want a metal fight season 5...
yes same but for now we are stuck with oversized gimmicky beys that are crammed in a small or gimmicky stadium if Hasbro with not very satisfying impacts and they don't spin long
@@PrismBeyblade fr tho why are they so massive
@@DrLifeGamer Most likely power scaling forcing people to buy more because they can beat the older burst systems because bigger = more impact per spin speed and they can get to their opponent faster due to the huge size also they are heavier
@@PrismBeyblade It's actually something I really like about the metal fight beyblades all though the newer ones are better, the older ones could still compete (meteo L Drago vs Destructor or Galaxy vs storm pegasus)
No
As someone who mainly grew up alongside MFB (not necessarily my first era), I remember these. The Beywheelz toys have moments of fun, but mainly in unconventional ways outside of intended gameplay IMO. Good thing about them is that you can use them nearly anywhere and they wouldn't easily break.
The anime is at a disadvantage of having a very low episode count, and since it's a spinoff, it might be a bit unfair to compare it to full beyblade seasons. Not defending them, but I doubt many had high expectations for the spinoff shows.
Reasonable about the episode count since it's meant to filler on metal fury.
@@zeroxenoverse9251 yeah like IMO, the most minimum episode count that would be fair is 26 of 24 min episodes or 52 of 12 min episodes. Beywheelz is basically half of those numbers, and it had new characters, so it's a lot to do in such a short time.
a series you know about but forgot about was the perfect way to put it! subbed my guy!
This is the era of beyblade that really nobody wants to remember and for good reason
I’m still trying to find where I put my old Metal Fight that I had as a kid and accidentally found like 3 Beywheelz I had instead. I don’t even remember much about them and this video definitely helped jog my memory a bit.
I used to have a Beywheelz when I was younger. I forget which one it was and what happened to it since I no longer have it. I had a big collection of the Beyblades from the Metal Saga, and my favorite ones were Galaxy Pegasus and L Drago Destructor. I completely forgot about Beywheelz after it stopped airing. Both the show and the toys were quite forgettable, in my opinion.
Then there was beyraiderz. The "second season" of beywheelz
They honestly should have made a real real sequel of the first one. Would you say so?
It’s probably mostly nostalgia, but I liked the anime for beywheelz but even more for beyraiderz but the concepts to pull off as toys are really just not too possible without being really janky and not functioning well.
didn’t just compare 5DS to BeyWheels 🤦🏾♂️😭😂 Great video though
I remember seeing this gimmick show up briefly with old the Hard Metal System beyblades like Round Shell MS. Can’t believe someone decided to revive the idea and make a whole show/toyline about it
Came from you comment on the moist video audition! Caught my attention cuz bayblade metal series was my childhood! Love the vid
Let me tell you how much I had forgotten this show spinoff exist...At first, I was thinking you were talking about Shogun Steel!!!
Mannnn!!!, why is no one talking about shogun steel.
Since this came out at the same time as Shogun Steel, I figured a future season would involve the wheelers entering the bladers’ world/dimension and seeing a sort of competition for which was cooler/better to settle disagreements… and then that didn’t happen and they somehow brought car-statue-things to the forefront.
They also released a 3rd followup BeyWarriors: Cyborg but it was never released in north america
Both Beywheelz and BeyRaiderz had interesting ideas that I wish had more time to be properly executed in my opinion. Because both of these shows only had 13 episodes the story was rushed and ruined the potential these ideas had. I wish both of these series were given a second chance and more time so they could succeed.
If only it wasn't used to filler in that is.
Beyweels was a good show but the actual toy was basically impossible to play by yourself and even with friends it was just so awkward to play
2:44 I *BURST* out laughing! HAHA, get it? Because like there are Beyblade Burst series, haha, no? ok
I remember the beyblade spinoffs and remember watching beywheelz as it was aired, weird series...
Just got here from ur comment on Charlie's vid and I gotta say I think I'm sticking around
4:31 The BBG video is my only complete memory of BeyWheelz
Even when I was a kid I knew beywheels wasn't as good as beyblade, especially the show. Even though beyblade metal fight-fury was stupid it sold it's ridiculousness so hard. The composer and the voice actors just went so nuts that it is still watchable as hell now that I'm not 9.
Can't really agree on fury being stupid. The buildup to it from the first 2 seasons and implementing the fact of the back then "2012 the world will end" scenario in a beyblade manner was genius in my opinion. And for the voice actors and the music - can't agree more, still watching the series over and over again even though I'm through like 20 times.
@@brainxd Especially the japanese version for the voice actor part. It's so good, not that I'm a Japanese simp.
In the sequel/spinoff/whatever it is, BeyRaiders, Sho doesn’t use Pegasus, he uses Samurai Ifrit, also known as the main Beyblade of Zyro Kurogane, who is Gingka’s predecessor and the main character of Shogun Steel, the sequel to Metal Saga. Like they can’t make Sho original in anyway.
Wish they would come back in a smaller scale with tabletop courses or something.
There are also beywarriors and its some sort of a bad remake about litle motorcycle cars. I actually own one and they were really expencive and strange.
and they are dangerous if you rip it multiple times
Yeah they can get really fast after you rip some times. I ones got the launching base for one of the things but not the beyraider so we had to buy one seperatly online.
I remember trying to watch this show on Netflix as a kid when it came out but the episodes were all out of order because 2012 Netflix so I had no clue what was going on. Then watched half a mid season episode of the follow up and I remember the leone user getting dunked on
thank god I wasn’t the only one that remembers that, I was so confused watching it as a kid.
I've seen Beywheels on many stores but I never knew they made an anime 😯
The antagonist also revealed there's another dimension with beyblades (yes it is the metal series) and their plan was to make an army and take over the other dimension. I could be wrong somewhere, but that was the plan.
Dude me and my friend only ever got Beywheels and we destroyed everyone.Didn’t know there was an anime.
This entire spin off is like that one awkward cousin who you have to keep inviting to parties and are forced to remember him even tho you or the rest of your family don’t want anything to do with them
At the end with wish they were part of the Infinity Nado gang
Honestly literally battle lasted at least 2 seconds IRL and there is no guarantee that they even hit each other. The only thing just might be worthwhile is racing them to see which one goes faster.
I've actually know this beywheels exist but only recently. Since I think it was release by Hasbro, so the stock wasnt really available in Asia. But with online store nowadays, I found it there. And clearly wasnt really cheap. It is on expensive side. But buy-able.
But at the same time, in my country this thing is not known until Burst show up. So there is no point on buying it today for me. 😅 And imagine playing this outside and hurt someone, or something. Even in the inside. I could break a glass or two... Like... Nehh... Wasnt for me. 😅
0:19 Pun intended? Maybe. Also I'm pretty sure beywarriorz were more dangerous than beywheelz, considering the heavy metal wheels in the centre. I personally injured my finger real bad on one.
Another thing, a few years back I found quite a few brand new, unopened, for pretty cheap.
Dude, I love how you put memes! Keep it up!
6:54 they were not just the original ones. They’re even some of them that light up within the Beyblade, spark FX series.
You just unlocked a memory i didn't even know existed. I was on a school trip in 4th grade, we were wilding with these in the hotel hallway lmao. We used to sneak out of our rooms every night and we were making a lot of noise until our teacher came and took all of our baywheels. We bought the new ones in the morning and countinued destroying the whole hotel xd
“Holy Sh#tnizels” XDDD gets me everytime
BBG’s poor flatscreen
Throwback
Even when I was like, not even ten years old I saw Beywheelz and went "I'm not watching that, it's stupid!" And stuck with Metal Fusion. (Which I never saw all of, so I'm gonna go binge that now for nostalgia)
You didn't see all of them? I'd give anything to see them again for the first time. Entire show is a masterpiece.
I always forget this series existed 💀
I've seen ads about beywheels when I was I believe 8 or 9, it was when I used to live in Maryland. And if you want a beywheel just put rubber bands on a metal beyblade and launch it sideways.
Oh I remember this series and I bought the toys of it. I don’t remember a thing that happened in the series when it came out 😅
I feel like Beywheelz is better than Beyraiderz in every way, despite having the same characters, and then there is Beywarriors Cyborg, we don't talk about that one
I totally agree, Jake! This series was wacky and the real life battles were extremely underwhelming. But I loved the action and story for beywheelz. The entire series is so simple but the animators make the action/battles so exciting.
I actually only have one beywheel and it’s Pegasus. #rubberboi
Yeah I agree 100%, the show was great and the battles were so cool
I still have my beywheelz crash course battle set
I watched it as a kid and thought "hey that was pretty cool", I watched it again recently to see if it was any good and it was fine I guess. I only had one question "How did blades, suddenly turn into wheels???"
Honestly, I think Beywheelz and Beyraiderz get a lot more hate than it deserves. The Beywarriors saga was meant to be alternate versions of the Metal Fight Saga characters, and bring something new, not replace Beyblade. Plus, Beyblade Burst manga started serialization only a year after Beywarriors Cyborg ended, and toys started surfacing a year after that. They actually had a smaller hiatus then the gap between the original trilogy and the Metal Fight Saga.
I also re-watched all of Original Trilogy, Metal Fight seasons the 2 movies and Beywarriors saga, except for burst saga, I'm still watching season 2 as of now, Ironically, I find that Beywheelz as a show was actually decent, and had likable characters and had me hyped for Beyraiderz, but the toys were lacking. Beyraiderz on the other hand, started in an interesting direction, but became dull and predictable, while the toys were improved and better than the Beywheelz toy lineup.
I remember using them to roll down a long hallway in our apartment building, good times, simple times where THING GO FAR counted as entertainment
When i saw this show air in my country I was like: “are they really trying to recreate the world of the metal series with crap?”
i remember back in 2012 i got the blue and green shark one for like $7 and me and my friends launched them through the streets and i recently found the green piece while cleaning
XD can't wait to see the BeyRaiders video coming soon
If I ever decide to actually make my channel a Commentary Channel then I will literally review these two series
6:26 that is closest to a swearword that you were ever going to get and that was automatically on the Internet. I heard that from the start.
bey wheels on a trampoline back in the day were lit
I still dreaming with a 4d system and gimmicks able to switch in game
If spin-stealer Beyblades kept adding more and more rubber, eventually they will turn into a rubber tire
I still have a beywheel its n orange light up, i'm guessing its a pheonix.
Also have a beyblade with its avatar and a green rip cord, dont get one, it is full metal with plastic tip.
It was not good, well it was good it just hurts you it CAN and WILL draw blood if grabbed wrong.
6:24 oh cool, I remember watching those videos as a kid!
Ok I might have imagined it totally, but I swear I remember a beyblade series, I don’t remember much but I do remember some sort of beyblade or robot that was white, and it stopped moving when a train went under an area for like 5 seconds
BeyWheelz was actually really entertaining as a child
Gosh seeing this in my recommended sent me back to parts of my memory I didn't even know were still there
The best part of it was that we have intrdysed to the multiverse of beys
Imagine if there be a bey to in there that even exist in more universis the beyblades does
My boy got me dying over here when he said Beyblades over here being epic battle or they clash and it in class and then she put in the average Beyblade battle up
You can modify your beywheel by extending the bottom part that would make a spin stealer, they are all left spin since if it's clockwise it will spin in the back
Ilinnuc really said we don't talk about shogun gun gun ☠💀
"Holy Shi-znizzls!" Man that alone makes me miss being a kid
i actually had one. they are fun to watch when you launch them.
i lost that one during shifting my house
It's actually an alternate universe.
Hey Ilinnuc! Love the video/channel like always! Keep it up stay safe hope you reach 300K subscribers and have an amazing afternoon! 😁👍
Funniest experience of it I had was using one on a hill near my grandparents house. The hill was long but away from traffic so I could constantly let them fly down it. Was really fun on the weekend but I only got them due to a prize a fair carnival so probably shows I wasn't to keen on it.
The best part about the Beywheels was the launcher, I removed the part of the launcher where the wheel goes, and just replaced it with a launcher part from metal saga (worked well, except for the fact that it only worked for left spinning beys)
I remember when I was a teen, ~2000s, when Hasbro was selling a new Hot-wheels toy. They were launch-able Rims with Hot-wheels theme on them. I have to say these Bey-wheels look VERY similar in function.
Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the series, and Googling 'Hotwheels wheels/launcher' is a hopeless venture.
Ngl, 14-year-old me had a minor crush on Jin. I also loved Leon, as his VA was the same guy who voiced Shun Kazami from the original Bakugan show.
I have fond memories of it, cause my family was stuck on an Air Force base TLF (which basically meant my entire family was living in a hotel for a month) and I had my little iPod 3rd gen and I would watch this under the covers late at night on a slowly deflating air mattress.
Is it as good as the other Beyblade series? No, but I enjoyed it for what it was.
I own a beywheel from one of my birthdays where I had a party at chucky cheese and I picked it as a prize and I "loved" it.
I never forgot about Baywheels. I felt so scammed
Haven't seen beywheelz or Bey raiders yet. I was thinking you were about to talk about Beyblade Shogun Steele lol. I'm so behind right now I'm still watching The Fusion saga.
6:56 and the Beyblade, spark, FX series was also made within the end of the. Metal fight era.
I had a few Baywheelz toys as a kid and honestly, I never figured out how to use them and only watched like one episode of the show so it's kind of a surpessed memory for me even though I loved Beyblade as a kid.
I just realized there was another beyblade toy called beyblade shogun not shogun steel it had the avatar of the beyblade on top of it
Bruh those things seem like a fever dream now
I used to have an Ifrit Beyraiderz. Cool concept, not a good anime. But yeah, great video, and I would love one on Beyraiderz and its measley 4 episodes.
Plz make your own beyblade series with the beyblades you made
3:12 CARD GAMES ON MOTORCYCLES
The directions must have known about the main character of Saint Seiya the lost canvas(spinoff)and next dimension.(the continuation)(they are not in the same universe)
As a toy yes. You needed two people. As a tv show not really. It wasn't that bad. Would love to see some of the characters again
i got tramatiezd when i rememberd that i used to whatch this as a child lmao
Nope. Didn't forget about it. Still have two beywheelz somewhere in my house
Its extremely overprice back in the day for a rubber wheel.
Bro I barely temper these, I thought for the longest time it was a fever dream till I found some in my closet
