If u want a challenge for extinction you should try beating the maps in hardcore mode. It increases the number of aliens and makes it so you only get skill points from completing challenges along with some other buffs. Once I got all the teeth upgrades I started doing only hardcore so that I can still use my teeth and have it still be difficult.
