Been playing since WaW. IX, Dead of the night and ancient evil are easily in my top 10 zombie maps. BO4 zombies was always hated on but I'm glad other people see how fun it was.
My biggest gripe with BO4 comes from playing it multiplayer, specifically in zombies, if the host pauses the game for too long, it literally softlocks the game, so we had multiple instances where we would pause while doing an Easter egg to have a bathroom break and get water, and then the game would just softlock and we would be too frustrated to try it again
I died to a lava catalyst right before doing the voyage boss fight solo. BO4 is definitely difficult if you don’t have the right setup (rocket launcher + phd). The difficulty makes it fun and repayable though. I wish the steps weren’t as “weird” as well.
Me and my buddy still play bo4 to this day. My personal favorite is og zombies with orgins but tbh i love this game. God i hate what zombies is today so boring in vanguard
Dead of The Night and Ancient Evil are really good maps, By the way, that ghost Seagull is Weasel from Mob of the Dead, and the three ghosts that dog-pilled the warden outside the lab are the other three mobsters

On IX a lot of people don’t remember but you could one shot the elephant with the revolver. One of the attachments for it allowed for instant kill headshots but I’m pretty sure they patched it now but it still does a lot to the boss.

hey for the gauntlets on ancient evil, the blood gauntlet actually has a monkey bomb effect to it, just not when you are doing the upgrade ritual. so it’s actually the best one by far
It's nice to hear others acknowledge that Dead of the Night is a genuinely good map. Definitely my favorite of the game especially since I've always loved the trope of big mansions with secrets hidden throughout the house. Every time I go on the map I can't help doing every little side quest and getting all the unique weapons.

There aren't a lot of content creators who are good at explaining it, and I understood the big parts of the story but it was the details I was iffy on. You stated that you were going to go for round 100 on all black ops one maps. Although it isn’t possible in call of the dead, there is a top tier almost 1 to 1 replica of call of the dead being added to the bo3 steam workshop on December 31st of this year. If you wanted to attempt round 100 on that map it would be awesome!

when b04 came out it was first cod ever that i stopped playing before i even prestiged once. and im happy i never went back it was prob worst cod ever made next to ww2 and vangaurd.
People didn’t like black ops 4 because of its unfamiliarity, chaos coming at a bad time(aether was peaking), progression was ruined and the elemental zombies were annoying. There wasn’t that much of a problem with the perk system imo. HUD was also a slight problem. But I love the game as much as I do the other games. DoTN and Ancient evil are so fun along with BotD. The hand of Charon is actually broken imo, because if you use one charge shot and kite the zombies into the pool of blood you can get ALOT of value from 1 shot
Maybe do advanced warfare zombies, definitely not as loved as infinite warfrare zombies, but I always had a good time on the first one (never played any other maps though)
Voyage of despair bossfight is that easy that even grandmas tells their grandchildren when drinking tea with the spoon inside not to beat is XD In bossfight you simply need to beat the eye out. That's it.
You know what, I look at bo4 zombies in a decent light. I'm not an Easter egg player, so I can't represent that community BUT I did enjoy my experience on maps like IX, Blood and Voyage. I didn't mind it, it just wasn't the most satisfying ending to Aether, that's all
I actually really liked blood of the dead despite bo4’s flaws. So much that I only ever played that map and prestige like 9 times off of it. Acid gat was fun to use but you gotta have phd for it to not kill you and magma was just a better choice in general

The way the main zombies youtubers(mrtlexify, noahj etc.) absolutely dogged on this game and influenced their entire audience, basically half the zombies playerbase, into hating this game, pisses me off so much.

Btw, don't know if you'd do this for a video later on but if you ever want to do an Extinction run through every map I'd love to play them all again but with a teammate. The reason behind it is quite confusing, something to do with the game codes and binary. It affects all WaW and Bo1 maps to my knowledge. It basically causes your match to restart after so long. With CotD there is no reliable way to kill zombies: no traps, the scavenger struggles to kill past round 40 or so. The VR11 can one shot but only one zombie at a time so you need to get rid of it and re spin it. On solo it is impossible to get to round 100 before the timer hits. It is possible on co op though

This video was truly amazing. Prior to this I hadn't fully understood bo4's continuation of the aether story, or the chaos story in general. This gave me a great understanding and its just like a, "wow." Moment. I can't understand why people won't give treyarch credit for what they've done, even if its not what they expect or want. I think bo4 is a great game zombies wise and is a fun and enjoyable experience all around. The chaos story, while not the main storyline, was an amazing addition to zombies imo. I have hopes (very slim, but present) that the chaos storyline will eventually return and be completed, as I find it super intriguing. The ending of the aether storyline, while some find it lackluster, is beautiful to me. Its an extremely bittersweet feeling, but I love it. I absolutely love that you went into these maps with an open mind, regardless of what the community thinks about the maps. Blood of the dead and voyage are notoriously hated among the community, and I love that you stated your own opinion, based on how enjoyable your experience was. This video was a true breath of fresh air. Great video dude, keep it up.
Ya know, for someone who didn’t play BO4 a lot initially, your setups are pretty godlike. I’m master prestige and I have dark matter camo, and I had a really hard time with IX and Voyage. I’m probably just bad, but you really surprised me. And yeah, the elephant in IX is a joke lol

watching this vid confirms my choice to never had spent time playing bo4 zombies. Honestly they should have skipped the round based mode and just made it similar to ghost extinction mode , and easier to follow and play to beat each map, Would have been fun. (Extinction criminally underrated btw). But as a regular zombie mode bo4 is just bad all around

The hand of Charon is actually broken imo, because if you use one charge shot and kite the zombies into the pool of blood you can get ALOT of value from 1 shot
Maybe do advanced warfare zombies, definitely not as loved as infinite warfrare zombies, but I always had a good time on the first one (never played any other maps though)
With all due respect, this dude seems to just love all the maps no one else likes just so he can say "Idk why this map is hated"

Botd wasn’t that hard of a map for me really. Only part I got stuck on was the Simon says. Other than that it was pretty easy. Just time consuming

You know what, I look at bo4 zombies in a decent light. I'm not an Easter egg player, so I can't represent that community BUT I did enjoy my experience on maps like IX, Blood and Voyage. I didn't mind it, it just wasn't the most satisfying ending to Aether, that's all
I actually really liked blood of the dead despite bo4’s flaws. So much that I only ever played that map and prestige like 9 times off of it. Acid gat was fun to use but you gotta have phd for it to not kill you and magma was just a better choice in general

The way the main zombies youtubers(mrtlexify, noahj etc.) absolutely dogged on this game and influenced their entire audience, basically half the zombies playerbase, into hating this game, pisses me off so much.

Every cod since except maybe Cold War has been warzone with multiplayer as a side mode to level guns up. Vangaurd would have never been a thing.

Btw, don't know if you'd do this for a video later on but if you ever want to do an Extinction run through every map I'd love to play them all again but with a teammate. Even if it's not for a video I'd be a blast doing dumb stuff on the maps with a partner in crime, such as the Rhino Nightmare on P.o.C.
Is it like a glitch that stops round 100 on "Call of the Dead" or something other?
The reason behind it is quite confusing, something to do with the game codes and binary. It affects all WaW and Bo1 maps to my knowledge. It basically causes your match to restart after so long. With CotD there is no reliable way to kill zombies: no traps, the scavenger struggles to kill past round 40 or so. The VR11 can one shot but only one zombie at a time so you need to get rid of it and re spin it. On solo it is impossible to get to round 100 before the timer hits. It is possible on co op though

Prior to this I hadn't fully understood bo4's continuation of the aether story, or the chaos story in general. This gave me a great understanding and its just like a, "wow." Moment. I can't understand why people won't give treyarch credit for what they've done, even if its not what they expect or want. I think bo4 is a great game zombies wise and is a fun and enjoyable experience all around. The chaos story, while not the main storyline, was an amazing addition to zombies imo. I have hopes (very slim, but present) that the chaos storyline will eventually return and be completed, as I find it super intriguing. The ending of the aether storyline, while some find it lackluster, is beautiful to me. Its an extremely bittersweet feeling, but I love it.
I absolutely love that you went into these maps with an open mind, regardless of what the community thinks about the maps. Blood of the dead and voyage are notoriously hated among the community, and I love that you stated your own opinion, based on how enjoyable your experience was. This video was a true breath of fresh air.

watching this vid confirms my choice to never had spent time playing bo4 zombies. Honestly they should have skipped the round based mode and just made it similar to ghost extinction mode , and easier to follow and play to beat each map, Would have been fun. (Extinction criminally underrated btw). But as a regular zombie mode bo4 is just bad all around
