Cappy, (you can guess what my autocorrect changed that to - lucky I caught it!), love your videos, and you’ve got that vehicle dialed in... I know Jeep builds are never really done! So, you’ve totally interested/motivated me and my boy in exploring and camping in the PLUZ south of Calgary... til now we’ve always camped in provincial or federal paid sites, and looking to step it up. Have a well-equipped Jeep and M101 trailer with RTT that I’ve been building up for 2 seasons now, so we can easily be self-sustaining and carry fuel, water, (eventually) firewood, gps, etc. How do we get started and find good, safe spots? I can download the maps, but once I’m out there I worry I won’t know where to go! Probably flying solo for now, as I haven’t found any family friendly co-campers yet. Cheers, D

If you follow the 40 Forestry Trunk road between 532 and Coleman, you find lots of trails going off the main road, all near Livingstone River, Oldman River, Dutch Creek and Racehorse Creek.

He is alive! Wasn’t sure if you were still making videos. Question for you-what did you base your decision on when you bought your jeep(basically, why did you not buy a rubicon?). I am going back and forth between a rubi and a Sahara. My daughter bought a new Sahara last year and it is nice! Cheers-Corona and lime. Best summer drink!!
306 Overland hi there. Basically came down to what I could offered and my first Jeep was a 2010 Sahara Unlimited and I put that thing through it’s paces so I was comfortable buying a 2018 JKU.
nice to see you got out. I was just east of you guys camping in my land rover defender with the rooftoptent. slowly building it into an overlander. got drawers done recently. looking at hot water and fuel storage next. I'm gonna have to join you on one of your trips. Great music in the video too.
Looks like a perfect overnight trip. Your new modifications look well thought out; reducing weight seems to be a big motivator for most overland setup improvements. I would tune in to see a future walk around of the Jayco trailer. Also would love to check this spot out one day, is it fairly acceptable for full size pickup?
AdventureAwaitsTN that’s because they are the factory fenders. I cut them, added nice edge trim from Amazon and installed little Amber LEDS. Oh and the anchor points are just simply to keep the fenders from flapping in the wind.
