    hey just a FYI for you and your viewers, with the Tissue culture plants, that Gell the plants are in contain growth hormones (auxin and cytokinin) that seriously shouldn't be touched with bare hands,

    • @zack-lk8if
      @zack-lk8if 7 месяцев назад +7

      yeah it contains, but its not made entirely of hormones. tc is mostly agar, you need to rinse the gel off the plant anyway so your fingers are being rinsed too. not that big of a risk

    • @treemanog112
      @treemanog112 5 месяцев назад +1

      Makes sense but what will touching hormone do to you. When you look it up online it says its ok

    • @ThatRandom2f
      @ThatRandom2f 4 месяца назад

      It’s important to look at who wrote the paper saying the hormones are fine, was it a TC company?, also even though the gel is mostly agar, it’s important to note that our body does not naturally make that type of hormone and while it’s a low chance of any actual harm, it has been linked to cancer and even a little amount could change our natural hormones by a little bit, and deppending on, could make you feel sick.

The tissue successfully bonded the bigger cracks where the shattered pieces were missing. Seriously, thank you. I never would've thought to do it had I not been watching your videos.

    Lastly, is the open panel enough to keep the springtails safely in their tank, where they belong? Or are escapees a problem?
