Solar said on their debut stage at Mcountdown only 3 "fans" were in attendance for them which was just their friends and family members. Mamamoo was in a poor company. They didn’t have the money to give them cred. They had these people in the mv to increase the visibility of the group. I don’t know if the roles they were labeled with were the real roles they played.
I don’t know the exact reason for the style, but I think they wanted to show the support industry legends were showing for this new group. All the “producers”, “staff”, “photographers”, etc were actually legendary singers, song writers, composers (not actually staff). Mamamoo’s main goal for debut, was to show vocal talent and artists, so I guess wanted to show other respected artists… Looking back at it now, I can see how it would seem random for new fans or people who weren’t into Korean music back then. You have to know who they are to be impressed 😅 The prank in particular was with Baek Ji Young; A highly respected singer (till this day). Imagine, someone you look up to, tells you you’re not that great. Poor Solar 🤣🤣🤣
Hello :) I hope somebody can give a better explanation than me re: the credits, but in a nutshell those people are actually well-known or highly-regarded artists/singers in South Korea. For example the lady (Baek Z Young) who posed as a producer--or more like a senior, giving them harsh comments them is a singer. :)
If i remember correctly this MV was like a celebration of the process of making the MV or a music video in general so they showed all that in black and white and the actual mv in color and there was the behind the scenes and that's because it was their debut if i remember correctly if not it's my vision 🤣

The main idea behind this music video was “Musicians created by Musicians” that is the reason many famous Korean musicians cameoed in this M/V.

Originally, this song was going to be called mamamoo. At some point they decided on the group name being mamamoo.
