did the kit come with shims to get the angle of the rear/drive shaft correct to the trans? That is by biggest fear of doing this kit, having vibration in the drive line
Hey man I just installed this on mine I went as low as it would let me but now it seems like I have a pinion angle issue possibly. Lots of chatter in the rear end over small bumps makes the whole bed shake. Did you use any shims in the rear?
We used what was in the kit bro. I don’t recall seeing/using any shims and I’m not experiencing the bed shake nor do I hear chatter. We also went as low as we could in the rear. Good thing is you have options, the easiest is probably raising the rear to see if that fixes your issues. If you want to stay as low as you are then you’re probably going to have to add shims. Have you tried reaching out to Ride-Tech? I bought my kit from DV8DZ9 and their customer service is A1. Not sure who you bought yours from but I’d consider hitting up Ride Tech if you want to stay as low as you are. Keep me posted bro, curious to know what the fix is. Sorry I wasn’t much help.

Why did you decide to use the RideTech and not the IHC kit? I bought a truck with the IHC 3/5 kit and it seems to be working fine.

No squeaks bro. I’ve put a couple hundred miles on it since the drop and haven’t had any issues.
