we still still spend few days rouging oats, but more for mainly blackgrass nowadays, getting more and more resiliant to sprays, wont be long before back to fallow land so can work it several times to try get it under control the way they keep banning sprays etc
Wow some job on the jcb Joe, great video again. That driving instructor looked a bit pale after Ems lesson 🤣🤣🤣🤣. A lapse of concentration leaving the tap running there Joe, but you had a long shift. 😂🤣. We’ll see you all tomorrow, thanks again for the great video 👍👍👍👍. Love it 👍👍😂😂
When I was around 8 dad use to pay me 50p for every hundred weight fertiliser bag I fill pulling wild oats, your regret throwing those wild oats in the hedge without snapping the stems because any dampness they get they will continue to grow. I use to use talk when drilling corn sprinkle it over the corn in the hoppers an it helps it flow better. Don't know about JCB sending you a new machine they might stretch to a can of black paint 😂
@@joeseels going by what ive seen & been held up by on the roads there will be some tidy old gear there...not everyday you see so many old cab less tractors towing a caravan🤣🤣
Did more than enough rouging for wild oats and black grass in my youth, I was taught (rightly or wrongly) to snap oat plants over in half to stop them regrowing and leave them in the tramline, black grass was bagged and taken away to be burned.
I think remember walking field’s wild oat pulling all used pull fat hen the potato fields…that 6930 should be a keeper look forward to seeing it clean 👍

Is it your baling tractor with talc ?
I'm guessing you use talc when you're planting corn (maize)
James the talc would be for the net wrap on round baler
I saw a tm 320s the other day it had a chrome exhaust stack
Talc was for round bailer roller to stop net wrapping round roller??
I knew Andy would love the chrome kit hahahaha
