I am a huge Bigelow fan but at that part of his career/life he was obese, was wearing a shirt to the ring and clearly only there to collect his paycheck and they were trying to push the Cat with the commissioner gimmick so there is at least some logic to that descision
Also in wrestling you can win custody of someone else's kids lol. If it gets to court the judge says "Wait, you lost a wrestling match? Was the stipulation clearly made before the match? Oh ok, tough, they're no longer your children"
Theres an indie company on RUclips called Rocky Mountain Pro that Vince Russo actually writes and even does commentary for. Their most recent episode consists of a tag match with 2 guest refs, a backyard match, and a main event all ending with screwy finishes with several repetitive backstage segments sprinkled in. It could be a contender for at least one of the worst wrestling episodes.
When the Hawk said, "That Sting has been hanging around Angelina Love & Winter." Let alone shown a pic of Dark Angelina Love. (Had me laughing, that was a good comparison joke, Hawk)

there's an episode of Nitro so bad I wouldnt be surprised if you've already covered it - WCW Monday NITRO #225, the Nitro right before Souled Out 2000. Jeff Jarrett triple header, champions showing up mid-match during a title defense, matches with beginnings that make no sense, endings that make no sense and some of the worst promos ever.
1,200 people is crazy lol. I remember watching late WCW as a kid & thinking, "Why aren't there as many fans there as there used to be?" lol. As well as, "Why is the lighting so bad now?".
How about the April 14, 1997 episode of RAW from Indiana and South Africa? It'd definitely give some episodes that won this infamous belt. I don't know for sure if it'd win but I think it'd give it competition.
Even if WCW was technically 'bad' in 2000, it was still fun, entertaining and loaded with charismatic characters, so I'd take it over anything produced today in a heartbeat.

The flip flopping of the WCW World Championship in April 2000 alone was insane. Started with Sid, then Jarrett, then DDP, then friggin Arquette then right back to Jarrett again. Friggin Russo, man.

It's still insane to me... WCW went from being the most successful wrestling company in the world, packing 40,000 into the Georgia Dome and selling out every arena months in advance, to barely being able to get 1,200 for a TV taping in less than 2 years! And I bet like 800 of those tickets were comps... now was this the worst show ever? With so many awful episodes of Nitro and Thunder, particularly in 2000, its hard to pick just one and say it wzs the worst, it's like all of WCW 2000 was one awful 200+ hours long episode... but it does have the most infamous WCW moment, that's for sure lol
These are great picks. The tna one was also the last I watched for several years…I stuck with them as they went lower and lower, and that episode was just telling me I was a moron for doing so…whilst making a show 100x worse. This episode was the last wcw one I watched. Literally nothing mattered on the show after that.
I remember watching this with my cousin and my mom had to take him home before the show was over. A day or two later he asked me who one and I was too embarrassed to tell him

Only in wrestling can you "kidnap" a famous movie star and not have their security or police on the scene immediately shutting that shit down.

Sunny's suit for the match is the highlight of this show.
To Arquette's credit, he didn't even WANT to be World Champion, and all the money he made from it went to injured or killed wrestlers, as you said.
