Geoff doesn't claim to be strictly a capella on his solo covers, he uses some plugins, He does record all the singing parts. Plus alldoes the arrangements. the filming, the editing .etc. It's a one man profuction with the help of his wife Kathy, the deald lady. :)
This is actually the second filming. He hated the first one so he did it again. The make up guy couldn't be there so his wife, dead girl, did that. She also took some adorable video of him at home practicing the dance. LOL
Geoff's independent channel is not strict acapella, since he doesn't have the beatboxing skills of Layne. Yes, his voice is extraordinarily recognizable to anyone who has heard many of his songs.
He is definitely doing an amazing job… he is creative and fun to watch, will be checking out more stuffs from him. Thanks for watching our reaction video.🙏🙏👍🏽
Actually, Layne has a studio called Pattycake Productions with his business partner, Tony Wakins based in Orlando, Florida. Tony is a former member of Voiceplay. Geoff uses the studios for his covers. As both of you known that Orlando is home for Disney World. Geoff and members of Voiceplay had or still doing work for Disney in some capacity.
From left to right is dead lady Kathy, Geoff's wife and the video's makeup artist (who actually twitches 2 or 3 times when he hits a particularly low note), Dr. Frankenstein, Dracula, the Wolfman (who's scratching at fleas), and Frankenstein's Monster (who flosses toward the end). I like your reaction. Thank you for posting.
The dancers represent Dracula, Wolfman (complete with fleas) and the Frankenstein Monster. Another, much cleverer, viewer described them as Dr. Geoff, VladGeoff, WolfGeoff and FrankenGeoff. Since I read comments, I also learned that the dance moves emulate Frankenstein strangling, Wolfman slashing and howling at the moon and Dracula swinging his cape. I thought that the hug was Dracula wrapping himself up in his bat wings, but another viewer thought of the Mummy. Also the opening la la la portion has a bit of Toccata and Fugue and the last bit is the last, if discordant, notes of Fur Elise. On his Patreon page he introduces the song with apologies to Bach and Beethoven. (And did you notice the one on the right was doing the Floss at the end?)
Less theatrical, but no less stunning, is Geoff's cover of "Blackbird" by the Beatles. His only musical accompaniment is a keyboard, which he plays himself. You get a better sense of his vocal range in that song, too. He has a fabulous talent (one of many!) for creating awesome arrangements, not just for his solo work, but for many of the VoicePlay songs too.
That’s amazing.. love his Creativity amongst other talents he’s got. We’ll check out more stuffs from him, thanks for the suggestion and watching our reaction video.🙏🙏

Geoff often uses computer generated music for drums and guitar sounds. The piano was probably him playing. Yes, all the vocals are his.
Geoff is filled with surprises .. he really did a great job in this video, such creativity and talent.💯enjoyed every bit of it . 👌👍🏽
The "instruments" are actually piano plugins, that he played. That's how he does all of his accompaniment.
That’s really awesome… thanks Amanda🙏👍🏽
