- The Indian Head eagle is, I believe, one of the more overlooked coins in US history, so here's a short retrospective on its history.

Probably my favorite gold coin . I don’t hv the 1907 yet . Great video.
Awesome 👍
Great video, interesting and informative!
I just ran across your channel. This is pretty cool. I’ve been looking for a channel just like yours to do quick histories of the coins that I’m buying. New subscriber here bud.
I'm glad you've been enjoying the content. I appreciate the sub and am now working on more videos!
I swear I need 10 of these in a nice little stack
Well done
How many of these are estimated to have been melted down? Are they high volume like the $20 Saint Gaudien or did they meltdown all the gold coins when FDR did the gold confiscation in 33
The 1907 rounded rim with periods variety only has about fifty extant; the 1933 issue had about 300,000 minted but most were melted. PCGS has a total population of around 22; Breen states 'a few dozen at most' - but really it's impossible to know just how many still exist.
@@CoinRetrospectivesI have two 1933 10$ Indian head gold eagles
I have an 1907 silver coin just like no in God we trust cannot find any information
The coin in the video is made of gold, so if yours is silver, it isn't this one. The 1907 Barber dime didn't have the motto on it, perhaps that is the coin you have?
Can't believe a bunch of angry Christians made this coin get a slight redesign, crazy stuff.
Damn pesky religion pushers
