I noticed that plugins are not available when signed into a work account. Appears that some functionality doesn't work without the plugins. Can they be added?
I went from ChatGPT to Copilot, but I really disliked that it wouldn't save any of my logs that I've spent time talking about.. I wanted to use an AI that records and keeps track of everything I say. In this video it says that Co-Pilot keeps track of your history (3:58), but it doesn't for me? I got Copilot 365 Pro, did I do something wrong? I'm switching back to ChatGPT, because he memorizes everything I want him to memorize (eventho it's limited). I wanted to use an AI to help me keep a good eye on my databases...
Do you mean logs from an IT admin perspective or session history as an end user. Both are types of logs. Microsoft Copilot Pro using a consumer account (e.g. outlook.com, live.com, or Hotmail) is not a business or enterprise version with admin logging in your organization's admin centers. For the admin logging, you can either use Microsoft 365 Copilot or Microsoft Copilot with your Microsoft Entra user accounts.
Can you detail about the "Notebook" feature? As i see it doesnt save our prompts when we switch to work and web again. So what is the difference between the web and notebook?
I am connected to Copilot with my work account, and I have Microsoft 365 Business Premium license. But I don’t see the toggle Work/Web on the top of the screen. Am I missing something?
@@MSFTMechanics I understand now that I need Copilot for Microsoft 365 license to get this experience. When I first watch the video, I misunderstood that it was included in the basic Copilot license that comes with Microsoft 365 Business Premium. Thanks!
I need it to run on my own machine. Nvidia is giving me "Chat with RTX", but it doesn't remember anything. I need an AI as a digital assistant that runs locally on my own hardware and that remembers and integrates new data that I feed in to it.
That's effectively how retrieval augmented generation works. The language model only "remembers" during model training, so even running locally on your machine for inferencing, it isn't getting trained. In all of those cases, whether Copilot, RAG or a custom GPT, it's adding text for that context to your prompt. That can make it seem like it "remembers" things, but it's it's still prompt augmentation.

I use it all the time it’s very useful ❤

There is an 18000 character limit for prompts vs. 4000 in chat, so it's better for text summarization

Sorry, there is actually more than one Copilot. Such as those for Dynamics 365, Security, Azure etc.
Make things which works without account requirements
You can use Microsoft Copilot without an account.
only a matter of time before they start charging for this.
there are free alternatives
