Many years ago, I happened to be driving my truck with my young niece and nephew as passengers for the first time. As we headed for my cousin’s home, in Alabama, the kids ask me what cd I had in the player. I told them Pavarotti. They had no idea who that was and I suggested they look for another cd to play since they wouldn’t like it. Instead they listened to Pavarotti and I believe it changed how they looked at music...and life. It did mine.

I had the pleasure of being his driver when he visited Ireland in the 1980,s lovely man although I made the mistake of bringing him into a smokey pub to use the bathroom when he was protecting his voice.
my grandpa loved Pavarotti with his whole heart, so sad i was too little (and him too old and sick) to even ever discuss about it. i naturally came to love Pavarotti by myself and when my dad noticed this he said i reminded him of his father (that died a few years before). this made me cry but happy, and i still feel like sharing a beautiful passion with my "nonno", even tho he's not here anymore.
I've listened to Pavarotti singing Nessum Dorma throughout his years and his voice is soo sublime ,he s the best for me,never tire of hearing his voice, fortunately his voice shall be heard for ever always!!❤️🌹🙏
I was blessed to attend this concert last minute! Unforgettable. Pavarotti generously sang several encores, including "Nessun Dorma" and concluding, I believe, with "Caro Mio Ben" that's also, on RUclips. It's an extraordinary rendition of this beloved Art song. The magnetism of his Golden Voice floated effortlessly, touching every heart at this sold out Madison Square Garden concert that memorable evening. I recall this generous spirit with heartfelt emotion every time I hear him. PAVAROTTI victoriously conquered the WORLD!!
Stupendo, tutte le volte che lo ascolto mi commuovo e mi vengono i brividi. Il più grande di tutti!!!! Un patrimonio indimenticabile e inestimabile. Grazie Maestro!!! 👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️
The amazing thing is he was one hundred percent positive his father had a sweeter voice than his own, sadly his father suffered very badly from stage fright and was unable to perform. Rest in peace, Maestro Luciano Pavarotti!
Pavarotti is the best at singing Puccini. He brings him to life and will definitely be missed. He’s singing with the angels in heaven leading the chorus with his amazing sound and control!!!!! I wish I was there watching him.
I agree wholeheartedly. Puccini brings out all his gifts as no one else does. Was blessed to hear him do Rodolfo in La Boheme; I get goosebumps just thinking about him.
Pavarotti. Watch him younger, watch him older. It doesn't matter. Every performance is singular. If you watch enough of his performances of Nessun Dorma on you tube you can see how age affected his voice, however, he brought his presence, his mastery, a world and lifetime of honed talent. Just fantastic. I'm so glad these videos exist.
Twice I saw him in concert. I cannot believe he is no longer with us … but he is, Pavarotti will live forever … for as long as there is an audience accepting something, someone beyond excellence. Sei Benedetto, Luciano … You are Blessed.
Up to now , no one has ever been able to be compared to Pavarotti , ever. He was and still is so unique, with his effortless way of achieving the high C, that still leaves people like me still breathless . Many tenors have been mentioned, but he still in a class of his own. He brought magic into this world for all of us mortal o experience . For no one else , would I have waited 3 hours at the Kennedy Center to experience what I brought away from that performance. . And that was not the only performance I witnessed . I always feel grateful for allowing me feel and witness what greatness was all about.

- bring tears to my eyes as a physical expression of the beauty invading my whole being, in hearing Caruso and Beniamino Gigli's renditions of this aria in days gone by. Hearing Pavarotti 1987 in Madison Square Gardens herein presented, has brought forth those tears again, and thus once more I am able to experience that intangible emotional outpouring of appreciation for the lovely music that once pervaded our senses in this world that sadly now, is askew with far less! This is his best!
A true giant, in male vocal supremacy!! A true alpha in pure human form!! Lol Vinci Pavarotti, may you forever RIP, God be with you! Supremo, magnifico!!!
Hard to express in words, no impossible, to understand or explain how this singular man touches so many in a place they barely know and touch them in such a beautiful and personal way. Truly, this is one man who will fascinate and beguile for generations to come. A treasure for all mankind.

Pavarotti's voice is a true gift from Above! I was so very fortunate to have seen Pavarotti in concert during the late 1970's before he started singing in sports arenas, stadiums, and festivals. I can't put into words what his voice sounded like in a smaller venue. What a gift from G-d.
Pavarotti a parte (un grandissimo), non c'e'proprio niente di cui essere orgogliosi a essere italiano....anzi...specialmente di questi tempi....(opinione mia)
After he finished he immediately drew the audience's attention to the director and the orchestra, he was humble, like all great people
It's typical to thank the orchestra Maestro and the First Violin after the performance, however Luciano did it immediately showing them respect
Class act, so clear, and powerful. I get chills EVERY TIME I hear him sing this. I could put this on a loop and listen forever…
