I love this song, it is so sweet. I found it a long while back as well, but it was taken off too, so thank you so much for uploading this beautiful, heartwarming clip!
You are welcome! Yes, I download this video to my pc from another youtube account. But few days after it, the person simply deleted the video. o.o I can´t understand why, but for our happiness the video is safe now. =)
As impressive as the 1994 scene of the Lion King with Mufasa in the clouds and James Earl Jones voicing him , this one is just as if not more touching. As a matter of fact, I put it up there with the scene of Dumbo with his mama singing Baby Mine lullaby to him.
I remember this well but there must have been an English language dub of it. This made me cry so much back in kindergarten in 1969. Watched on ch 56 in Boston.
I didn't make the subtitles, but when I found it and downloaded, the owner of this video sudenly deleted it from his account! ...And shure, I uploaded this precious thing! ;) You are welcome! =)
Wow i always wondered why 60,s and 70,s japanese cartoons were always so sad and dramatic back then? Galaxy express 999 is almost the same in the first episode, they kill his mother doe and 3000 leagues to find mother is so sad too..
Beautiful >.> Why do we get the short end of the stick when it comes to dubs always? Ah well. Honestly when I listen to this, and don't read subtitles it scares me to death.
You can get this on the lost episode 1 of Kimba The White Lion. You can buy it now. But as the English dub team were poor singers, they just say the words and not sing them. This is why the four black panthers song was not done, they doubted their ability to do it well.

It makes me cry every time I see it. One of the greatest scenes in the history of animation.

Thank you for showing this beautiful video and the song as well. It makes me cry.
Sorry for your lost Kimba.
So beautiful. I love Osamu Tezuka's works, they always have such a genuine poignancy to them, no matter their audience or subject matter.

AWS? They did translate it to english, but, it was also cut out of the show after being dubbed, lol.
You can find the lost version on here somewhere
Funny, I remember seeing it in the English dubbed version that was shown in Australia in 1980's.

Oh. Well... I don't usually look at the ages of comments..
way too intense for US version, had to be dumbed down in translation
Sorry I get a bit testy when people reply to old comments. ^^' 90% of them just reply to be a douche.
