    I'm glad T helped with your anemia. That's something I havent heard many people talk about. Hope things continue to go ok.

    So happy to hear that your anemia is better! I don't have it now, but I did have low blood preassure for a while and man, that blackout feeling is the absolute worst. Bleh for feeling weak like that.
    I too have troubles with skin picking, and the risk of increased acne really freaks me out when I think about trying out T... If you come across any tips or tricks that seem to work for you when it comes to managing skin issues in relation to anxiety and picking - please share! For me the only thing that seems to be helping is therapy, anti-depressants and other ways of slowly managing my anxiety. But I just feel as if all those efforts might not stand up to an increase in things to pick... I hope you are doing well, and looking forward to seeing more of your journey on T :3

      thanks for the reply and sorry for the late reply! i kind of touch upon what i do to try and negate skin picking in my latest video, but tl;dr i dont have any good tips, sadly. ^^;; but it's interesting that your antidepressants have helped you manage your anxiety, because for me i feel like my skin picking got worse upon starting antidepressants and i've become more fidgety in general. weird. >.>; but anyway, thanks for watching. :)

    I'm so glad to see you this happy and content with your changes. Yes testosterone definitely improves stamina. I'm slightly anemic at baseline and I'm on a 1/3 of a full ftm dose, and I could feel a huge difference in stamina and overall energy levels. doctors always disregard my anemia as being minor and negligible so I was never treated for it. but I'm telling you I used to be so lethargic and now I feel like an 8 year old again. It's amazing.

    Just started watching, already loving the voice change so much. Remember that you can also change resonance itself through voice training, even on T and everything because resonance might stay where it is, even when the pitch changes. Love your videos :3

    That side effect of helping with your anemia is great !
    The cat staring above your shoulder was so distracting ! But it's a welcome distraction :)

      Having a cat stare over your shoulder is a side effect of T 😺

    obviously not to invalidate your feelings, i too dont want a beard, but if the positives outweigh the negatives, thinking of facial hair as underarm hair for example, something ppl become used to shaving as well, remembering some ppl w estrogen dominated bodies also deal with it, etc...may help w the association side. Most ppl on t have to go out of their way to get thick facial hair as well, it takes more than a year on standard doses to get more than a peach fuss

    I'm just so happy for you regarding the increased energy. That's such a wonderful thing. Thank you for sharing your experiences. It makes me realize the possibilities for non binary folks and I can't wait to start exploring these options myself. :)

      Also I agree on the facial hair: as much as I don't mind the idea of it, that would be the point where I'd probably stop HRT.

    if your appetite has increased also, it would somewhat make sense that you would have more energy from eating more food and helping with your anemia, but again, im also not a doctor
    edit: if your dysphoria over facial hair worsens you can look to different avenues for helping w your anemia. theres no use of staying on t mostly for that if your dysphoria worsens when there are potentially other options medically for dealing w anemia

    I was anemic for a long time until I went vegan (:

      @QueerAsCat  6 лет назад

      interesting. i usually hear the opposite, that going veg has made people struggle more with anemia. glad to hear that wasn't the case for you.

      Well I actually have to update from my last physical actually because I'm long overdue for one and I've been vegan for going on 2 years now. As far as I know as long as you're getting the proper nutrients vegan or not then you stand a better chance against anemia. I know one thing, when I was a pescatarian and vegetarian the situation actually worsened but then from what I understand dairy does something where it strips the iron from your blood to leak out through your urine on top of the mass amounts of inflammation that it creates in the body. Either way long story short, get that iron, double up with vit C and you should be good to go (:
