@@Michael-l6i if u have enough time you can solve conventional but I would rather suggest to solve 1 or 2 questions max from each topic just to clear your concepts
Bs ek baar syllabus deklo n sem me jo b subject gate wale h unka thoda ache se prep karo, main preparation to be started in 3rd year with proper handwritten notes
Its better to limit tge resources and stick to it like class notes, PYQ and test series only, for better in depth preparation for ece subjects you can contact Diksha Dhiman AIR 10 , insta handle: diksha0227
Yes the initial approach should be always to develop deep understanding of subjects, and solving mains question is a great way to master that. Bt try to solve only one question of each type rather practicing many questions as time is less

i think the problem is coz of your long py cycle try to shortened it, like if u r solving py in 1 month try to do it in 10 days and repeat, try to get used to of the pattern

Ese jaisa chota mota exam deke phaida nahi hai. State pcs is far better than engineering services. And upsc cse should be priority in my opinion.

Resources ko limited rakho, try to read same resources again n again rather refering multiple resources, practice is only way to improve accuracy
