They’ve practically given up reviewing this garbage now. I was aghast at reading what was on this week: Jack Perry v Lio Rush in presumably a featherweight division match. Ricochet v Sammy Guevara, who obviously only gets to play on Wednesday when Mercedes wants the week off and says it’s ok. One of the girls beating up the male wrestlers. John Moxley with his brand new “attitude”, which is exactly the same thing he’s always done. And that was it. Who would want to go to see that live?! In a massive 20,000+ arena! Imagine the actual fan experience, and how embarrassing and deflating it would be.

I watched 30 minutes for the first time in like a season (3 months) and checked out. They do ppvs well if you define it by match quality and modern match quality without psychology and selling but they are horrible about consistency ppv to ppv in between it

Really embarrassing how a professional wrestling company, that's on the TV channel, is doing what garbage wrestling promotions been doing. Tony should have a triple match between Rob Black, Ian Rotten and John Zandig and whoever wins gets the opportunity to be the "Eric Bischoff of WWE" at AEW

mjf is going to make himself OVERRATED by doing this crap there were a few wcw guys like jericho, big show and others knew what time it was when wcw was failing they got out. mjf saw Cody, Jade and Ethan Page all knowing what time it was but mjf has his head in the sand. I'm pretty sure if CM Punk didnt get fired once his contract was up he was gonna leave to.

TNA Impact did 109,000 viewers on AXS as of Mon Sept 9. Not really a big deal, but not bad to AEW Rampage and Collision numbers considered the size of TBS/TNT TO AXS.

Wrestling has always had issues with bad angles and matches. Cornette even booked a ninja turtle to be in a match. If AEW did this, he would tear them apart to appease to the marks that take the rage bait.
The complaints he has against AEW aren't anything unique. They're complaints that non wrestling fans make about all wrestling. You can apply them to any company and they'll be valid.
There are always stupid stories. There are always low quality matches with dumb decisions. Jim just overthinks and cherry picks whatever he can against AEW to carny his audience.

I dont even watch Dynamite anymore, havent for a year. For the little I do like about AEW, I only watch the PPVs. Your reviews make tolerating the AEW product better 💯

Awful Embarrassing Wrestling
I know this sounds like something out of the blue, but here it goes:
We all know AEW ratings have sucked for quite a bit of time, I believe Tony wants to cough up the book, but I think he has two men in mind to run it that he trust, one is Danielson and the other is Jericho. If we subtract the shitty two fractions of Jericho and go back to the beginning Jericho was a bit more serious until OC feud, than the feud with MJF and than Adam Cole feud all three of those did sucked. I than re listened to the CM Punk interview on the MMA hour and I came up with theory. My theory is that maybe CM Punk/FTR was booking collision on Saturdays until the firing of Punk. I also have noticed that the format of Collison seems more organized than Dynamite does. Maybe Tony is trying to get the TV deal or deals done, than change things up after that. I know collision is on a bad TV day , which is Saturdays and Rampage needs to done different. I am wondering that we don't see FTR or the House of Black Dynamite more is because a EVPS in Matt and Nick Jackson or maybe Collison seems to be better structured than Dynamite. If you move Collison to say a Thursday would be better or hell even Monday especially since Raw is going to Netflix. I believe Dynamite is stuck without structure unless something changes. I don't know who will get the the book, but if Danielson is to take it over it might not be such a bad thing. I know that this will not get read over air I just wanted a conversation about it

I read somewhere that anotehr reason dynamite has bad ratings is because CBS Reality show big brother is on and there is a crossover with fan! Now Survivor is coming back next Wednesday dynamite is doom by even more! But even with that AEW dynamite still sucks even if it didn’t have all that against it!
I am so sick of hearing about AEW! More classic wrestling please. I don't want to hear so much about a show I will Never watch. I hate that the AEW talk makes me fast forward through my favorite podcast.
AEW dynamite just isn't a good show how is it that WWE'S product is on fire and AEW'S product just sucks it's like tony khan isn't trying at this point glad i don't watch dynamite anymore these reviews are 10X Better and more entertaining how can tony say that everything's great but less and less people are watching dynamite is tony really that dumb these reviews are more enjoyable.

you cultists can lie to yourselves as much as you want, but AEW is the better wrestling product, despite its hiccups. WWE is a canned experience and is little fun in person.

I think both are very flawed, but at least AEW can bring some crazy “Can you believe they’re doing this” moments, whether it’s insane spots, athleticism or train wreck botches. It’s why Jim doesn’t talk about wwe much. Or it’s not emphasized at least. Rather have a controversial product than a completely sterile one

WWE is largely being watched on TV by habitual watchers who don't buy the PPV's and don't go to the events, they just put on the USA network every week and watch. When WWE goes to Netflix, most of these viewers will not follow them there and will wonder what happened to the WWE when its not on TV anymore.
