Is it dumb that I kind of got goosebumps when the Hashira made their first entrance here? It gave me the same feeling as the moment when they first appeared in the anime.
I watch a lot of musicals and stage plays (granted most of them are western) and I usually dislike when stages rely on LED screens and projections instead of building a real set but Japanese stage plays are different. With plays of anime adaptations, there's really no other way of showing the audience while capturing the animated feel of the source material since it relies so heavily on visual cues you can't portray with real life. Like using the screen in the play to show the water and lightning when they're performing the breathing forms is so smart and it synced up so well with the actor's movements. You can definitely tell the cast trained hard and the whole crew deserve so much love for the lighting, design and sound.

Okay. My favorite parts of musicals (especially fantasy ones) are the technical aspects that they use to imitate the impossible. Way back when the first musical released, I saw the moment when Muzan killed the three humans in the alleyway and it was AWESOME. I need to see more of the battle with the temari and arrow demons! And they totally upped the effects with the tilted stage in the second one; I'm so impressed! They must have gone through some intense rehearsals to be in sync with all the effects on the screen! Rui's threads were AMAZING! And of course it was awesome to hear the first song without Muzan and the other three versions with his voice standing against all of them--man, this could be one of the coolest anime musicals I've seen! Is there a way to see both of them?

Keisuke Ueda (Zenitsu's SA) is for me one of the most recognizable stage actors for stage adaptation animes. Just some of the other stage play characters he played: Chuya Nakahara (Bungou Stray Dogs), Yukine (Noragami), Japan (Hetalia), Chifuyu Matsuno (Tokyo Revengers)
The actor who played Giyu is amazing, I love his skill. He's the one making me to keep watching the video. Stage played can be a little hard to enjoy on your first attempt, but when you get used to it, it can be really good. Also, I love how they all bow in their own character style ☺️
You don't understand how stunned I was through this whole thing holy shite- my jaw was dropped for most of the time, I mean- the lighting was so intricate and on point, emphasizing each scene with all the emotion that couldn't be fit in any other parts- and the FRICKEN MUSIC HOLY SHITE- IT WAS SO IMPACTFUL?? And honestly made me wanna cry every single time the music crescendos. No to mention the fluid motions of the actors? Like- DAMN- Giyuu was so in character I'm so proud- and Inosuke too, definitely props for having him be skilled in breakdancing. Cause that's perfect for his character being that he can literally manipulate his bones, joints, and organs fluidly. Tanjiro fit perfect for his role too I loved how he great his fight choreography blended with Nezuko. Also the way Tanjiro's actor yells perfectly just made him all the more believable and moving. I can't get enough of this whole stage play. I'm so glad this exists and I really REALLY wanna see how they would interpret the Mugen Train arc along with the Entertainment District arc. Thanks so much for highlighting these parts, and introducing this to more people cause this stage play deserves so much more hype!!!!! Frankly the coupling is not good, but that's because this writer is generally bad at writing women for some reason, shanobo is good but that's about it unfortunately. The music does help tho and her acting is really good not even considering the character is plank of wood, like she's just good in general and that only makes it more impressive

The ensemble cast did so well in kizuna, even playing named characters. I only watched one curtain call but they were only introduced as ensemble members. They literally had more stagetime than most of the hashiras i wish they got more credit and acknowledged like how naruto stage did

17:02 whoa. something about this scene in the stage play really got me, somehow it hit me harder than the scene in the anime, i think the background music really added to the emotions. i wasn’t a big fan of this couple until this scene, wow.
Frankly the coupling is not good, but that's because this writer is generally bad at writing women for some reason, shanobo is good but that's about it unfortunately.
The music does help tho and her acting is really good not even considering the character is plank of wood, like she's just good in general and that only makes it more impressive

The ensemble cast did so well in kizuna, even playing named characters. I only watched one curtain call but they were only introduced as ensemble members. They literally had more stagetime than most of the hashiras i wish they got more credit and acknowledged like how naruto stage did
