Love your videos. I’m out there sourcing too. Thanking eBay everyday for the opportunity to quit full time job and have some freedom! And variety ! Turned 62 this year and quit my job two weeks later. I don’t sell many hard goods mostly mens clothing. Easier to ship. Lol. Not everyone wants their life on you tube. I applaud your discretion!

I always look forward to your thrifting videos even though I don't thrift anymore, I really miss doing that. You mentioned not missing 9-5 job but I must do that as I couldn't make it selling just clothing. But, I am thinking of selling hard goods in the side as I have always had good luck with that and it's just fun to go to the thrift store and look for treasures. You're such an inspiration!

17:47 Definitely a piece of raku pottery!
The cracklature you saw on the rim and inside the vase is a hallmark of the raku technique (and not "faked" crazing)...
as well, the very dark, unglazed surface areas on the vase that result from the firing process are typical of raku.
I probably would have picked it up; it was a very interesting piece!

The crackling in the glaze on the pot about 18:00 is not fake. That's normal in raku finishes. You should check comps on raku and learn about the process. Some pots can bring very good money.

Hi Karen at 17:59 the blue and black vase that you stated was not well done is raku pottery from the looks of it, maybe a studio piece but people collect it and love it. That would have been a great pick up but without touching it myself hard to say. You have a good eye and love that you are so selective in your finds. 💓

Hi Karen, I just wanted to let you know that I (for one) never ever expect to hear or ever comment on any you tubers personal life. I feel that if you wish to share any or none, that is fine. I do enjoy hearing little bits here & there and I am so so glad you are happy. It's so nice to have a friend who understands your work isn't it? I wish you every success in your journey and its fine if you keep your personal life completely personal, doesn't bother me a bit LOL. I enjoy finding out how you do your sourcing success's and failures along the way. Thanks so much for sharing with us, and letting us learn from you. The one thing that I would like, I don't know how easy or hard it is to do, but to pop up the name of something on the screen for a bit when you mention it...for instance - you mentioned the vintage boonton confetti splatter mixing bowls. I have seen those before and passed them right by, so its nice to know now that they actually might be worth picking up. I was able to find on ebay by just searching for confetti bowl. But often when watching you tube many posters assume that we know the brand name already or assume we can understand what is said but sometimes we don't. I am working as I listen so the last thing I want to do is stop and go back in the video to re-watch and try to figure it out LOL. Not saying I do this with your videos, but it is so helpful when a name or an example listing is inserted to show it. As I said, I do not know how hard this is to do, but just an idea. Now I have learned something new, as I almost always do when watching you.

The box of dishes is Temporama by Canonsburg. It is desirable but expensive to ship. The cost of shipping usually takes a bite out of the profit as buyer negotiate a lower buying price to offset the cost of shipping. I would have bought it....but possibly lived to regret it. I HATE HEAVY AND FRAGILE even if it makes money.

I don’t think the two terracotta angels were anything special, but I did come across a set of 12? cherub head ornaments in terracotta one time and it happened that they were designed by a famous interior designer that used to do the trees for the Whitehouse. He has now passed away and the ornament business was sold years ago. But those ornaments sold very quickly and I probably under-priced them. So it’s always good to check, as you know.😀👍
