for me this is the best interpretation........ yes.... because you can understand what you really want to know about the melody... as a guitarist also you can play it easily just by following every note .. every movement of his finger... nothing to hide.. he show every chords , the notes, and the clarity of the sound of the guitar... thanks for sharing your video ...greetings from philippines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Many thanks for the very kind words.
Close your eyes and you're in a plaza in in olden Spain...It's dusk and cooling down from a hot day. There is a scent of roses in the fresh air as town folks gather around the fountain, relaxing from the day's heavy chores..And over on a shady bench is the village's favorite guitarista filling the evening air with a beautiful backdrop of Spain's timeless songs. Some dance slowly to them. Others are tired and falling into a nap or clinking jars of cervaza and tequila... total bliss throughout the night...
That's the mood this piece and played by this exceptional guitarist, puts me in; that, along with a predominance of people in Los Angeles of Latin background and heritage helping to cement that feeling for me , now near dusk here in Los Angels..There's a plaza on Olvera st. which once long ago was exactly the same...It's still there. But alas, the sights, the air, the scents, and sounds are very very different now...
You're truly a mood painter. You'll make a great scene set and background director for music themes.
Well done! it's really nice to see someone with the skill to play this piece properly for a change. Excellent job!
Magnificent! Best interpretation I have ever heard.
He does a great job, but look up the same piece by Christopher Parkening...
I first heard this when my Daughter's boyfriend played it (well, .. he's a really good classical guitarist) and my adult son decided to do 'interpretive dance' to it... it was very funny but now I can't take the piece seriously because I can just see my son rolling around the living room!!!!
Stupendous, Tavi! Exquisitely played!
Cant stop listening to,thanks for sharing dear ,that song and also your talent represents untold
I DISAPPROVE how dare you not continue these amazing lessons on Capricho Arabe

Very well played 👏
A wonderful melody played with passion and precision 🤗
I listen to this almost everyday I love it thank you
i love you too
Frumos!!!!!! Mi-a mers la inima.
First time I've heard that and I was spellbound, makes Cavatina sound like a beginner's piece
Yes, the same here. It is one of the most beautiful serenades ever written.
Cavatina has passages harder for me than anything in this piece. Maybe I never learnt it properly.
Both wonderful pieces anyway.
Just beautiful
Mesmerising
Amazing performance.
Increíble interpretación
Fantastic skills.
Incredible
Thank you, Sarah!
Increíble 😍
Thanks for the kind comment Maria.
I love your videos Tavi ... I learned Preludio de Adios from your GSI performance .. thanks!
Awesome. What a great piece. Here is the link on our website to that tutorial eliteguitarist.com/classical/videodetails/preludio-de-adios/BC6BA2
Enjoyed every note, muchas gracias compa.
If you disliked this interpretation of this piece, can you please upload your interpretation and post a link here. Thank you....
Amen!
Sounds like a dream
This is just great !
Increíble Melodía!
Just a suggestion..it would be great making an arrangement of “ La Reine De Saba” for the next upcoming lesson👍🏼
Amazing!
Yo and that guitar are really connected, like it’s just part of your body!
Beautiful Tavi, _ Ian
Which guitar is played here?Beautiful sound. Of course it is dominantly the player that produces it, well done!
This is a Thomas Malapanis guitar. Unfortunately Thomas passed away at the end of 2020. We have one of his guitars available for sale if anyone is interested in purchasing one of these phenomenal guitars.
최고의 연주!!
By the way how can I set You Tube on repeat??
Que música linda meu.
wow really really good!!
Thanks Diego.
i ike the phrasing of this performance many others just sound a little rushed and the pauses are just as important as the notes
Thanks so much for the kind words. Keep up the good work.
This is amazing
After all these years I still have this piece.
phrasing is god like
What is the piece that sounds during the intro of the video?
Danza Brasilera
Simplesmente fantástico!
Many thanks!
Is it the wedding ring that does it?
😎👍
A very good sound, defined and expressive, for my taste I would have preferred a little more liveliness in some parts, score 8.5
Please forgive us, we will try harder the next time. With regards to your gracious grading, we don't deserve it but are thankful for it.
Imagine Jean Luke Picard doing a face palm.
@@babscabs1987 Ha ha! I imagined that and laughed out loud.
But obviously they forgive you, unfortunately Segovia and
Julian Bream is gone, so I have to settle
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Too slow.
Mal muy mal pesimo
Sounds nice, but form is very poor
How is it poor?
You're poor.
