I visited Kautokeino and most likely also Karasjok, many years ago on a trip to the North Cape, and looked for a proper made knife (Not just a simple work knife)! And also a pair of new Same Tøfler, of which I have owned many, during many years since passing a market on Jotunheimen rather often in my car.

Interesting story. Yes Kautokeino and Karasjok are both very fascinating towns. You can really feel the sami atmosphere , and the cultural differences in both places from the rest of the country!
