Okay so everyone in the comments knows bits and pieces about skincare, identifies one issue with routine, and then goes and says that it's an awful skincare routine. Look at her skin, it clearly works for her
Keira MacDermott it works...for now! All the damage is building up to become a skin issue..just like sun exposure without spf for years and years will age you faster. What’s not clicking?

There are actually certain things people do their skin that is horrible for every skin type. The reason you can’t always see the effects right away is because they can afford to get work done. Also a lot of the effects are more long-term and you don’t notice them until years later.
The people that are hating don’t realize that celebs get $700 facials every other month so technically they can afford to be a little loose when it comes to skincare

Perfect skin! Idk why she doesn't use her oil cleanser on her eyes as well. It's a miracle for getting off all your eye makeup and so much less harsh than wipes and no rubbing 🙏😁
From a Dermatologist - i just want to say this for everyone watching this and thinking about doing what she does: PLEASE DO NOT USE MAKEUP WIPES! THEY ARE SO BAD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT! AND DONT TOUCH THE DROPPER FROM A SERUM OR OIL BOTTLE TO YOUR FACE BECAUSE YOU WILL GET BACTERIA INTO THE BOTTLE AND ONTO YOUR FACE!
Cate H Just use a cleansing balm or cleansing oil to remove your makeup and then follow up with a water based cleanser. Makeup wipes produce so much waste and they are one of the most harmful beauty products for the environment. Also they cause premature aging and wrinkles in your epidermis due to the pulling motions.
Cate H they will make you wrinkle and the wipes are made of plastic which never goes away in the environment . Please try something else especially 5 packs a month . Couldn’t imagine how much waste your putting in the oceans :(
She has a really nice skincare routine, and you can see it’s really working for her!! She’s a celebrity (she’s rich) of course she’s going to use or try out more expensive product!
why does everyone in the comment section always think that they are dermatologists.. just let the girl use what she wants to use.. y'all are being so dramatic
Clary Fray or we can learn to be responsible consumers and stop buying products just for the sake of buying things. Like she has a cleansing oil that is non-irritating so why use wipes? She literally leaves a cleansing product on her face without washing it off. Also most products today contain HA, why buy a separate serum for that? We should learn to be more consumer-responsible
@@TheAydish i get what you are trying to say but at the end of the day it's her decision. If it works for her, which it clearly does, i mean look at her skin, then let her use it. She has the money to buy the products, why should she buy drugstore stuff then? She still uses neutrogena wipes which are pretty cheap so she has a balance of different products. It is not our decision to make what kind of products other people use. If she wants to use makeup wipes, why shouldn't she? Yes, maybe they aren't the best for the skin but she should feel free to use whatever she wants to use.
Clary Fray i think most people are commenting to educate others using her as an example. we’re well aware she won’t see or take any of our advice, it’s mostly for the benefit of the audience

Aw thank you for your response! The texture of the serum really had me interested! It looks super hydrating! Her skin looks really plump so she’s definitely doing something right!! I appreciate your help! 🤗❤️
Hyaluronic acid is a really easy active ingredient to find at any price point. Even the “special” delivery of multiple molecular weights that the Dr. Barbara Sturm uses can be found at the drugstore. You’re definitely just paying for the name with that serum.
It’s a bit sad to see so many judgy comments. Focus your critique towards the industry and brands instead of the user. We all are doing our best with the information we have. And also, Hyram and Susan may know a lot but do fact checks on what they say too, their claims are not always supported by science 😊 have a good one xx
Rahaf Abutaleb when celebs shoot these videos they have the option of doing them in their own bathrooms or a hotel bathroom for privacy! I'm assuming this is a hotel since she probably doesn't want strangers in and out of her house during the pandemic
Dove I have seen you in all descendants movies (1, 2, and 3) And I have seen Liv and Maddie at least 6 times! You are on of my fav actors/celebrities And you are my idol I love you so much!
Pretty solid routine for her skin type. She seems to enjoy floral notes as do I and her skin is clearly holding up gorgeously to this night time routine. I would just toss the wipes and use the oil all over. And then follow up with a gentle cleansing foam or cleanser before starting the serums. 👏👏👏
I honestly don't know how to feel about it. I have a large rounded forehead, and at times I wish I didn't have it as big and spacious, but it also gives you a younger look I think.
For those that want to know, Hyloronic Acid is fantastic for keeping your skin hydrated. You apply it right after washing your face and it helps lock in moisture (it can hold up to 1,000X it's weight in water). If you don't want to use this pricey option, The Ordinary has a great one, along with Neautrogena Gel Boost has it. Vitamin C is great for skin brightening and protecting against free radicals in the air, so it's actually better to use it in the morning to protect your skin. However, if you want all of these types of miracle components in just one product, you're best to incorporate a retinoid into your routine. Retinoids (not retinol, which is low potency over the counter option that's not as effective) is a higher concentration of Vitamin A. Vitamin A has proven to be the gold standard in skin care. It is the quickest at increasing your skin cell turnover rate, which means it helps prevent acne, fine lines, builds collegian, protects against sun cancer, etc. It's prescription only (though differin gel is not available over the counter in the U.S, which is just a different form of it). If you do get a prescription for this, apply a small, pea sized amount on dry skin (after washing your face) at night 2-3 times a week. You may experiencing purging (your skin is pushing all the junk that was going to break you out to the service) but it's so worth it. Your skin will be clear, soft, less redness and pigmentation, less wrinkles, etc. But the best thing you can do for your skin is apply sunscreen. ALWAYS wear it. Here's a successful routine: + Cleanser (something basic, like Cerve, La Roche Possey, Cetaphil, etc) + Sunscreen in the AM + Retinoid (like Tretinoin) + Moisturizer (same brands as above) While I think Dove goes a bit heavy on the oils, which can cause irritation in some, but overall her skincare routine is very solid. No, I am not a dermatologist. I'm just someone that has done a lot of research on active ingredients, what's worth it, what isn't. You should never spend a ton of money on sunscreen, cleanser, or moisturizer, because they're almost all the same. Cerve is a GREAT brand often suggested by Derm's. Most of your skincare budget should go in serums or actives.
Hello ! I don’t think you will respond but I do have a question 🙋♀️ when you say skin brightening does it mean loosing pigmentation, whitening the skin ??
Skincare is really personal. Everyone has their own ways of doing things. Which means in short, just because someone does something different doesn't make it wrong. Though I was pretty shocked she doesn't actually cleanse her skin.. do you boo.
Dove's skin is absolutely the most dreamy creamy glowing skin ever. Its clean, clear and really glows. So, if that's really her skincare routine is working for her. So y'all should stop bitching about it. Too bad makeup wipes doesn't work for you or tgat you breakout for everything.

Cate H I hope yk that they damage your skin to the gods and don’t even takeoff all the makeup
Some people are too broke to get good skin care stuff and can only get makeup wipes🤷🏻♀️
arcitcwolfAJ makeup wipes are, on average, more expensive than cleansers (including cleansing oils to remove makeup) from the same brands...
Cate H they will make you wrinkle and the wipes are made of plastic which never goes away in the environment . Please try something else especially 5 packs a month . Couldn’t imagine how much waste your putting in the oceans :(
I love how she talks about the self love and the tone of how she speaks
She has a really nice skincare routine, and you can see it’s really working for her!! She’s a celebrity (she’s rich) of course she’s going to use or try out more expensive product!
This type of self care is so much fun. I like to find and use new products that are good for my skin. You're gonna look young forever Dove!
why does everyone in the comment section always think that they are dermatologists.. just let the girl use what she wants to use.. y'all are being so dramatic
@@Zancity6666 i understand that, and that is totally okay, but i see a bunch of really mean comments, so I decided to speak out
Clary Fray your skin may look fine now but you’ll regret it when your skin gets saggy way earlier because you used the wrong products
Can we talk about her earrings for a second? Because I love them.
omg same!
Dove is so cute and funny and self aware. Her skincare routine is what works best for her and doesn't need to be judged. Xx
her eyes are GORGEOUS omg
A part of me was expecting Thomas to show up
That happens to me in every single quarantine vid of hers 😂
Right?!
Is it just me or can anyone eles not find the bad comments?
Amina Nura there all the way at the bottom
There isnt
Loved this! Harpers bazaar wants to drop the most legendary skincare routine of all time tho.... Vera wang baby. That woman is 70 and her skin looks absolutely flawless. I NEED TO KNOW
OMG! Why is that hyaluronic serum she uses $300!!? Has anyone used it? That better be youth in a bottle for that price 😳😳
@@petrichor7942 Never did I criticize her.. I'm actually really into skincare and was asking a genuine question.. I asked has anyone used it cause I was interested in how well it worked.
way overpriced. try the osea sea serum, way better and way cheaper
I personally think it's just the name. A lot of things are expensive because of what's on the product and not what's in it.
Her skin is so perfect and her eye color is so pretty!!!😍😍😍
She loves and takes care of herself! And that is beautiful! 💖💖💖
I don’t get how people can touch their hair and then touch their face and not breakout 😭
i’m surprised I don’t break out and I touch my face 24/7
I eat and I break out. I clear my face but the next day my face is like “nah f you bro”
Oh my god!she is so beautiful like even without makeup she looks stunning ❤she is such a queen 👸
"there's so much dirt and oil and stuff on our hands"
Me, leaning in my hand with my face, all open palmed: ...hmmf
Dove is like the kindest most honest and talented person in the entire world like it is unreal!
I guess her fave word is
"unbelievable"😁
kidding aside she's so beautiful.
She legit said ‘unbelievable’ as I read this comment lol
Lexie Foxx same!
Oh my gosh I love Dove Cameron!
It’s a bit sad to see so many judgy comments. Focus your critique towards the industry and brands instead of the user. We all are doing our best with the information we have. And also, Hyram and Susan may know a lot but do fact checks on what they say too, their claims are not always supported by science 😊 have a good one xx

The first celebrity that doesn't have the same bathroom
Rahaf Abutaleb when celebs shoot these videos they have the option of doing them in their own bathrooms or a hotel bathroom for privacy! I'm assuming this is a hotel since she probably doesn't want strangers in and out of her house during the pandemic
@@lovexlightsx3 thank you for your information 🤗
lovexlightsx3 hun they’re called vogue bathrooms
She filmed it at home probably on her phone lol
This made me feel so peaceful. Like PEACEFUL. We all need a little skin care in our life :)
I've always felt she has the most baby-like skin I've ever seen since I first watched Descendants
Dove I have seen you in all descendants movies (1, 2, and 3) And I have seen Liv and Maddie at least 6 times! You are on of my fav actors/celebrities And you are my idol I love you so much!
Dove over here spitting straight facts
Her personality, voice, and skin are all so beautiful >_
Pretty solid routine for her skin type. She seems to enjoy floral notes as do I and her skin is clearly holding up gorgeously to this night time routine. I would just toss the wipes and use the oil all over. And then follow up with a gentle cleansing foam or cleanser before starting the serums. 👏👏👏
Why use doing foaming cleanser after the oil one?
I watch these for motivation when I’m too lazy to skin care
She is hope for the girls with bigger foreheads!
glamour fame And Rihanna😍😍❤️❤️
Yasssss
her forehead isn’t even that big? lmaoo
glamour fame I love her forehead lol she looks like a Disney princess
I honestly don't know how to feel about it. I have a large rounded forehead, and at times I wish I didn't have it as big and spacious, but it also gives you a younger look I think.
It's great to see her take care of her skin, and point out the self care component of skincare
Damn I didn’t know everybody in the comment sections were dermatologists. They critiquing her skincare routine as if they’re getting paid
TRUEE
her skin is goals to me, so precious!
Dove is funny and elegant at the same time, I love it
For those that want to know, Hyloronic Acid is fantastic for keeping your skin hydrated. Here's a successful routine:
+ Cleanser (something basic, like Cerve, La Roche Possey, Cetaphil, etc)
+ Sunscreen in the AM
+ Retinoid (like Tretinoin)
+ Moisturizer (same brands as above)
While I think Dove goes a bit heavy on the oils, which can cause irritation in some, but overall her skincare routine is very solid.
Caitlin Bauer why should you have sunscreen in your routine I’m just wondering cause I’m young and don’t know much about this stuff
Hello ! I don’t think you will respond but I do have a question 🙋♀️ when you say skin brightening does it mean loosing pigmentation, whitening the skin ??
She’s so gorgeous😍
She’s so gorgeous 🤩🤩🤩 it gave me anxiety that she didn’t wash her face though 😓😅
Vali V she did wash her face
Your skincare routine ❤❤❤❤😍😍 5:43
lovely 💜🌸💜
Anybody else think of Hyram every time someone says they use a makeup wipe... like oooh he’s not gonna like this. Lmao 😂
Celebrities spend hundreds, if not thousands, on facials. ... Some of you people are so simple, idk.
I just noticed , her skin was turning pink as she touches it
Omg! I love her skin
She is so calming and obviously absolutely stunning ♡
