Drove the original Jeep in the Army in the early eighties. I agree with a full cab, and lockers front and rear. Should be a very fun vehicle after that.
The reason you can smell the exhaust is because you moved the pipe from the side to the back different aerodynamics from the side it's in air form one direction from the back the air is coming from under and over causing a vacuum where your sat A 90" pipe going to the side might cure it Happy new year to you all stay safe and keep the videos coming
Best friend I have with hoses and removing the is a hook blade in the utility knife. Once you get it under the hose it cuts all the way through and does not kill the plastic fittings that they are on.
What a ridiculous Lawsuit. The Roxor has the most generic off road vehicle design possible. The typical Jeep Shape dates back to the Willys Jeep from WW2! So the origial inventors of the Jeep are dead. By that logic they also need to sue Land Rover because the front has things in common with Jeeps.
Hey bud when it comes to hoses and boots and such use rubbing alcohol it will be so slick it slides like ice and after the alcohol evaporates you will have to pry it apart... Sprayer hoses heater hoses turbo boots to bicycle handle bar grips... You will be amazed
@@BriansFarmingVideos cheers you too! Good luck with them modification plans! BTW I happen to be from India, we do use a lot of imperial units here, especially in manufacturing & construction.
I’m sure with the windshield and it’s creating a vortex and suck in the fumes in because it’s open in the back. Same thing happens on the UTV with the dust and snow.
The old exhaust pipe protrudes to the side and the new one goes out the back. I think it will be a back suction that makes the diesel smoke go forward. Just a guess.
Not saying anything bad but yeah your dad's needs a whole lot of cleaning yours is nice and clean in fact I like people takes good care of their stuff and stem disabuse it the last longer have a great day have a happy New Year tell your son he's right have a good one

Great Job Brain, could hear the Turbo Kicking in , it sounds a real nice Motor, Regards Trevor.W.Baclli, Hapy New Year Brain & Family, regards Trevor.W.Bacelli. Biloea Qld Australia.
I worked on the Mahindra range of vehicles in India for an Authorized Mahindra dealership in India, the reason for getting the smell of diesel fumes is position of the tail pipe opening which is at the rear off the vehicle, the wind draught created behind the vehicle causes the exhaust fumes to get sucked back into the cabin. You will still need to use a 90 degree bend towards the side of the vehicle even if after you get a rear baulk head. The 120 hp tuned ECM doesn't seem to help as the exhaust smoke is clearly showing that the ECM isn't tuned properly It's indicating both incomplete combustion bluish white smoke & excessive rich fuel mixture black smoke this will cause excessive soot built up In the EGR circuit (exhaust gas recirculatuon) causing the EGR valve to get stuck & in the intake manifold reducing the power output even further. The only remapping which can be done for this engine is the amount of fuel which is injected into the engine without any proportionate control of the boost pressure. A better way of increasing the power is installing a turbo intercooler which will add a few more horse power to the power output of the engine. The wastegate vacuum delay unit also will delay the operation for maybe a few seconds after which the WGT valve will operate normally due to which there is an intial surge & then a sudden drop in boost pressure to the engine. Using a bigger turbo with an intercooler will increase & stabilise the boost pressure to the engine & may go well with remapped ECM. Also after all these modifications are complete check the colour of the exhaust smoke its should be barely visible
*ELECTRIC LAND CRUISER HEATERS do exist for very good reasons. ELECTRIC FLOOR BOARD / FOOT HEATERs & DEFOG DEFROST the Glass heaters are available. You might want them.*
The Roxor intro music was great... gotta link? You can turn the exhaust tip down or towards the side behind the tire with a fitting, even chrome if you like. It's amazing how diesel exhaust at the camera instantly makes me "smell" it. Like when I duck if a "Sporting" YooToober points a barrel at the camera. It's the same thing with cooking shows... and porn too I suppose, not that I... LOL
If there is one thing I can be absolutely sure of on our farm... we will have battery problems in the winter. Not because they all aren't less than a year old... because they're junk... no matter how much they cost.
I've always heard pipes out the back will come into station wagons or hatchbacks. Best to route the exhaust out the side so the wind blows by the side and away. Can you fit the 90* back on and try?
Would a new turbo that makes more boost kill the engine? A few PSI more on the cylinders will clear up the soot and improve the power output a lot. More than Fuel Adjustments will ever be able to do.
Yeah, I will say I called this. Do you like your roxor better than the big name side by sides ? Also you need a bigger turbo, I bet you could find one !
Hold your hand over the end of the tail pipe when idling you should hear if it's leaking. Maybe get a curved chrome tip and and aim it down and towards the passenger side. How fast did yours go?
Your smelling the fumes because you took out the CAT. I have the same exhaust and it has the same problem. Thinking about having a larger muffler installed, its a bit load for me know.
Brian I wish you all the luck in the world with your new gleaner, but I'm willing to bet that you go to a different machine after two years running it. I have run all major brands mostly green and gleaner was definitely the absolute worst. Good luck
Wade definitely knows his way around diesel engines and how to make them run!! The turbo whistle sounds good..

When you moved the exhaust out the back from the side. Exhaust circles up into the back of the vehicle. Field in Michigan

A nice upright exhaust attached to the roll bar with a stainless steel flipper rain cap, eliminate the smell and add a touch of class 😊
Sweet mods and agree, let’s check out and get Diesel Freaks above a thousand! He is an awesome resource for the Roxor!!

Nice. The muffler system on the new one reminds me of the ol cherry bombs we used to run back in the day.

Isopropyl alcohol works good for putting hoses on also. That’s what we use at work for building fire trucks.

They ran it out the side because open vehicles tend to drag the air behind them into the driver. The tune is running that thing very rich.
