Ha! “I was going to scrap the video, but my fridge quit working... so I have to get content out to buy a new one”
At least you are honest! LOL!
I think you just created a new word. “Farmtent” Farm video content. Nice work. Keep the videos coming.
Brian thank you for all your videos I enjoy all of your videos
It looks really good. I will say one thing tho if those windows are like anything on the Polaris ranger soft door windows, watch the zipper on them. Eventually it will end up going bad and you’ll have to find someone that has a sewing machine heavy enough to stick a new zipper on it. Other then that they weren’t bad at all and held heat well in the ranger.
Always a great video with the kids having a good time! 💜
Brian it will be awesome when you get it done the way you want it. It will be nice in the winter for wind break + rainy days 😌 Great content as always. Definitely catchya at the next one. Be safe!!
One of the tricks I learned from my Samurai was to bungy cord a packing quilt in the top it adds some insulation, takes out some of the flapping, and you can use it to help stay warm if you get stuck on the trail. Speaking of being stuck out overnight one of those mister buddy heaters that twist on to the top of a 16 oz propane bottle can help knock down the cold
Thanks to all farmers, for growing food for my family and I. Happy new year!
Nice buddy,
Love from India
Brian, In 1974 we had a CJ 5 with a soft top. It was just like yours, leaks, rattles, cold. But great fun! Enjoy
Looks good. Glad the kids enjoyed it. Great video.
I love those Cooper’s! I wish my Forrester could use those! 😼❤️🇺🇸
Had cj5 back in 70s-80s took an old blanket in the wintertime and draped it over the roll bar all the way to the floor kept things nice and warm, now if you have riders they can curl up in it. If ur roof and sides are flapping to much get u some foam pipe insulation and put it around roll bars it will help.
Looks like a lot of fun…take this for what it’s worth with my feelings set aside of your opinion, but if you hadn’t already done so you should try airing your tires down to about half the psi. You will potentially will attain a softer ride and less of a jerking feel while in four low 1st gear over all the obstacles with possibly less clutch ride. Just enough air in the tire to keep it on the bead through any condition will provided you with the best and even fun experience with your suspension being slightly more stiff. I would love your feed back on my suggestion in a similar setting or course in a video for the rest of the world to see. PS I enjoy your farming content and originality I am from NE Ohio keep up the good work both farming and content. I wish I could hear your dad using his working words!!
Pp
It was good seeing you at the Expo, nice rig, did perfect on the obstacle course.
Roxer aka Thar is love ❤️. In india we love this mini beast for its rough use...
very nice job and a jeep is a jeep and you knew that nothing is perfect but glad you made it over to some what you wanted.
Brian like the video on the Roxor .
Beautifull machine
In the winter through a piece of card in front of the radiator.
Pretty neat vehicle it looks like it holds up and doesn’t rust nearly as much as a Jeep wrangler
These days, truck bed campers have gotten more clever and more elaborate, even having all sorts of popups and slideouts, and there are places that will make them custom for your vehicle. I wonder if Roxor could be used to haul a mini-version of a truck-bed camper?
A day the little guy will remember.
Brian they had an event back in the day called
" Gravel Rama". That was a big event in 70's an 80's. A Blast for sure. I was a 4x4 fabricator at a place called
"The Mudhole" in Indianapolis in.
Bestop? If so, they’ll last several years. To fit their soft top doors bending the door frame as needed is part of the deal.
the cab came out awesome
Thanks Brian!
Hell Yeah Brother!!! Motorsports content, Perfect!
Looks very nice. I see this is an old post. I was going to say the door adjustments are common with Jeeps either with soft tops or hard tops. Usually with the old soft door the metal hinge pin is just easy to bend enough to make the small gaps close up. And the zippers all eventually hang or the pull will snap or come off track. And the soft windows will sometimes crack like glass if unzipped and folded over in winter. When I put my new rag tops on I would lay them in the sun out of the box or use a hairdryer to heat them a little to make them stretch easy. As long ago as this is you probably know all this now. Haha
Looks good . just put cardboard in front of the the radiator in the winter, if it get to warm put a smaller one in. That’s what we did with Case 930 when we used it with snow blower 🇨🇦😁
Ugh at the blair witch project camera work...lol. Looks nice, I'd like to make one out of abs
That looks really nice Brian, makes me want my old 78 CJ5 back, I know this is a different animal but it does remind me of it!!👍
I used "house window and door adhesive" weather stripping on our CJ-7.
seems like you are making it yours and getiting into the slot you want it to fit into.
Love your Roxor I want one first have to get me a new truck. I'm your neighbor from Pa new subscriber. Maybe you can help me some when I buy one. I would like to have it licensed to be street legal.
Random comment to help with the refrigerator algorithm
😂
Other Roxor owners have installed a snapped cover to the grill allowing engine to warm up like diesel big rigs do.
Looks like fun
You will definitely happy with our thar(roxor)🙂🙂
looks badass
Welcome to the mid 90's Jeep life
Are you gonna do a new update on the Roxor? I’d like to see how it’s dong now.
It looks amazing 🤩
A higher temp. Thermostat. Best to get temp. above 180° & if cooler your gonna have issues from moisture long term
The door fit is very similar to a 90s Wrangler.
Good job.
Really like the grey your father has
It's so cool
Make more video on roxor brother
Get you some rubber hose like fuel line or air line and slice it lengthwise halfway through with a razor. Makes good weather seal for gaps can also buy weather strip with adhesive. The hose will close the gap better I think, and there is usually extra lying around for repurpose.
Thanks
Brian, just putting a new soft top on a Jeep is a pita. I’ve been there with a 1978 CJ7.
An honest YTer! The freezer went, gimme a like!
Run it like a big truck in the winter and put a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator to make it run a little warmer
Morning thumbs up
Aaaallllllright! Hot coffee and cool ride! Looks good with the new top. Ya' got a cup holder in there?
Yep
Looks like a 4 wheel drive amish buggy !!!!!🤣😂🙂🤣
So I’ve been told
Next step 50 cal mount on the roof.
Soft tops like that at freeway speeds ,the flaping from the canvas will drive you insane
Don’t elongate your door hinges ! Just call it a done deal ! It’s fine and it’s only a UTV !
You might check with your insurance company on your freezer mine paid for the contents . I had half a beef left more than paid for the new freezer
How'd the heat wind up working during the winter?
*ELECTRIC HEATERS DO EXIST.... Usually installed under or between the seats or blowing on glass. Usually advertised for LAND CRUISER or JEEP.* YOU might like a WOODEN CAB. I would suggest DOUGLAS FIR or SITKA SPRUCE... because these are lighter than other woods.*
Where did you find the top? Who makes it,and what did it set you back?
I hope none of your friends or family are affected by the KW layoffs. Can't believe they're laying people off because the lead time is out to next spring and they won't even allow new orders unless dealer already has a slot locked in.
KW is in a constant lay-off, hire, lay-off rotation.
Yeah buddy
You are quick lol
@@BriansFarmingVideos I’m a RUclips junkie when not working, and notifications help too lol
I live about 20 miles from the Lake Tahoe end of the Rubicon Trail Brian! Load that Roxor up and head west sometime. I'll run the trail with you!
Brain, maybe you can find, or make a winter cover for the radiator to warm things up a bit? Like the winter fronts that go on a semi. 🤷🏼♂️ I hate being cold,,,, it’s a southern thing 🤣
OR replace the thermostat!
@@stirlingfromla that’s not the issue,,,,
About the roof rack. Be very mindful of the center of gravity. These older Roxors were already quite high in that regard. I find side/rear racks for overlanding to be less... butt clenching.
Saw this in your last video
Yep
Hope you found the electric heaters that JC Whitney has for Jeeps
Good luck finding a fridge/
Electric heater/defrost kit for a 1960s vw bug.
Sweet desl
Been looking for one where did you get it
Mahindra Roxor 🇮🇳
Cool. Looks like fun. Is that the shop you guys sold that you were working in? Oh yeah and got to love instructions that really don't help much. Must have been made in China... J/k But glad you got it figured out.
What brand is the soft top? Been looking for one
Is there any way you can put a shroud over the fan my Dodge truck did the same thing little one and I had to put a shroud on and I finally got heat thank you Brian Gary
Put In mr heater in the winter
Literally just watched ur 1 year review
Lol
How much roughly, do you have in your roxor.
hope you found a new fridge somewhere, home depot in springfield ohio took months to deliver ours
We luckily got it working again.
Can’t wait to see the Farm Progress video!
Ever take it off any sweet jumps?
I've been looking for this top and can't find any anywhere...
ya kno, in that RAIN UPDATE on the blower finger things on the NEW GLEEE'NER'BINE *I* SAW that ROXOR CAB all done... didn't say anything then, sho9uld have asked HEY!!! NO FAIR SHOWING BEFORE THE UNVIEL!!! :) BREAKING IMMURSION THERE BRO!!! but I didn't lol I just laffed and let it go.. THEN .... not lettin it go this time tho lol
Looking good. I hope you like it. How goes the house planning and start? When will they start your shop? I remember the last time you mentioned it you said something like if you inked the deal then they couldn’t start it until the end of the year?
Still waiting on FSA to get some paperwork done for the house before we start. And waiting on quotes from companies about the shop
There is probably a electric heater you could get out there somewhere
Brian may I suggest a Webasto auxiliary heater?
how many Camaro's and nova's are around the farm? Should do a video on those for us hotrod farmers.
Enjoy the videos from southern ontario Canada.
1 67 Camaro 1 98 Camaro and a 65 nova
@@BriansFarmingVideos thank you
winter includes a plug in vest now??? lol
Hey your gotta start wheeling somewhere. Why not safely. At least then you know what too expect with rocks and climbs and visibility!
I don't know if I missed it or not but what is going on with the new house?
I need 1 for fishing
👍
I think Mahendra needs to launch proper mahendra that in your country. Or somekind of package for this. Customers needs to be on top priority.
Yes something like thar or scorpio
Where you get cab can't find one they been sold out everywhere
Got lucky on this one
@@BriansFarmingVideos thanks man keep up the roxor content
