Westminster is a tube station on the Circle, District and Jubilee lines.
The station opened on 24 December 1868, the Jubilee line platforms opened on 22 December 1999.

Nice modern station, rebuilt when the Jubilee line was extended. But it was only possible as the building on top of it was demolished and renewed. Shame they didn't modernise that short passage from the Thames quay to the station 🙄🤔 And a station with nicely done platform ceilings 👍😜😁
10:30 You unwittingly filmed John Prescott (now "Lord" Prescott) sitting down to the right, watching you like a hawk. He was Deputy PM in Tony Blair's Government. Now no one recognises him because there's no way he'd have set foot on a tube train when he was in government, lest someone pushed him under a train lol.
Lol, as a German I have to admit that there aren't too many British politicians that I would recognize in public, and he's not one of them.🤭
But now that you mention it - he was already at the platform at 8:50 and 9:14!
@@MetroCheck I think there's more chance of a non-UK national recognising a British politician than a British one 😆
