A real craftsmanship to make such a beautiful tube, amazing to see. I called yesterday for my Valiant 8.50 PT. I hope to order a new black tube from your company soon.
Just bought a 2007 bombard 6.10m. Was out yesterday and noticed what I’d describe as a packing strip come away from underneath the left rear tube section on the inside. I just tucked it back in but is it a sign of the tube getting unstuck? It all looks perfect from the outside. The boat has full regular service history abs only 500hrs on the original engine.
I find your videos very informative thanks. Keep up the good work! Assuming when a boat needs a retube there are no additional problems or remedying works needed, such as flange repair, how much should you allow for a retube? Let's assume it's a fairly common boat, Humber Destroyer 6mtr, with common tube fittings.
Looks like that tube was just a big dail my b8ats 40 years old and still works an yes it's safe maie better baffles that tube looked fine apart from the failed tube
Ah you are back....At what level can you not understand what is in front of you, The Boat in the video is Polyurethane (PU), it does not pretend to be anything else, we offer PU or Hypalon at new build on all our craft, this owner chose a NEW TUBE in PU. If you are going to make offensive insulting comments get your facts right, people like you epitomise all that is wrong with the internet, ignorant people spouting rubbish that they do not understand. We have built boats in PU (NOT PVC , look up the difference as you clearly do not know) for 40 years, we do not use and never have done PVC for tubes and by the way your comments are offensive to the millions of people who do buy PVC ribs, it is not crap and provides boats at a price point people can afford, the majority of Zodiacs (The Brand) made under 6 m are PVC and they are not crap, not as good as some other fabrics but not crap. Key board warriors, the plague of the internet, to be [wrong and] offensive is not a right to free speech it is just ignorance and stupidity.
