I am a freshman, with all the struggles of school, and life is not the best. Everyone is competing for popularity. Seeing this reminds me of my childhood and how I wish I could go back to a simpler time.
Just graduated, and wish I could go back to the old days playing this game with my friends and cousins. This game changed my years in elementary school and being on a long road trip was not as boring. :)
A new decade has arrived. I feel like I should be happy, but all I feel is an empty sadness. perhaps it is the realization that I am no longer the curious young boy I once was. I have grown up.

It wasn't even me who would play the game, I'd just ask my mum to and she'd do it for me. 2021 UPDATE: I asked her if she'd do it for me again and she said she would, think I'm a little too old for that now though.
My mom played just a few times with tekken 3 and tekken 5 with me. Then she never touched a game and also my father did. Now they hate games for i don't know what reason and blame me for remaining a kid playing games

Sigh... why can't Mario Kart Credits music go back to the way it used to be sort of emotional, Mario kart ds and Mario kart 64 had these kind of emotional credits making you feel like you really won, Enough of these up beat Jazz like credits that Nintendo has been using for the most recent Mario Kart games.

We have all come a long way since our Mario Kart DS days, and whatever memories we have associated with it. I experienced this game for the first time as a 7 year old. I was reintroduced to it 7 years later as a 14 year old. I come back to it once more right before I turn 18. My view on life sure has changed in the last few years. Legacies formed and ended, visions developed, maturity came around, and new skills were picked up. I had no idea that I'd be able to read Japanese now. If somehow anyone sees this comment, I just want you to know... we grew up.

Nintendo games, especially Mario Kart DS and Wii were bangers that were one of my favorite childhood games and contributed to shape who I am today. And that’s (partially) why I’ll still love Nintendo today, no matter how much the haters are gonna bully me for this. That’s not even just nostalgia talking: I replayed MKDS and MKWii as a grown-up and it aged so damn well. Not a single part of the game is less fun today than it was before. Playing on Airship Fortress, Tick-Tock Clock, Peach Gardens, Coconut Mall, or Wii Rainbow Road is just as fun today as it was back in my childhood. Thank you, Nintendo.

Ahh I remember the good ole days, I use to just play the last mission just to listen to the end credits, takes me way back I never knew how good things were when it finally been long ago that makes it harder just to remember all those great moments with your friends and family, back when actually we all come together and just have fun 😢!

This is like going down memory lane...Not just with Mario kart but all games such as Call of duty and others where not everything was surrounded by the latest technology...Don't get me wrong I like the new games...but I'd choose a day of old Classic Mario over this new stuff.

This makes miss my grandfather so much! He was the one bought 2 DS and this game! One DS for me, and another DS for my brother. We used to play this all the time, and have fun with our cousins. And Grandfather was an amazing man... Since he passed away, nothing has been the same...
I can't, mariokart ds was my child hood, it was the first and only game I ever played, I lost the game card 5 years ago now and my parents said they wouldn't let me get another.

Cant help but come back to this theme. Idk how to explain it but for some reason this theme alone is what makes such a great game so memorable, I had so much fun playing this as a kid. What a wonderful song, and what a wonderful game as a whole.
I’m now a high school freshman, and this is just a little taste of my childhood again, when everything was easier and never stressed you out, I wish I could just go back to the days when I came back from elementary and I booted up my DS and put this great game in, it’s still my favorite, thank you

I’m graduating from HS in a couple days and I’m just revising my childhood basically I remember playing this game over and over and over again and never getting tired of it. This ending credit scene always makes me tear up when I hear it…….
It makes us all shiver as we remember the good ole days, the simpler times, full of nostalgia playing with friends on the bus, especially playing it with my friends in the projects, just had so much fun without a care in the world, man I miss my childhood 😭.
I vividly remember crying at this when I first played the game back in 2010.
It is currently the night before my graduation and here I am listening to the Mario Kart DS end credits to remember the good times of when I was a kid. I do miss being a kid sometimes, such simpler times.
