The primary causes of constipation include:
Eating low-fiber foods, which make it harder for stools to pass.
Not drinking enough water, leading to dehydration and harder stools.
Lack of exercise, which can affect how efficiently your digestive system works.
Certain medications, particularly antibiotics, can disrupt the balance of gut bacteria and contribute to constipation.
Medical conditions such as hypothyroidism or irritable bowel syndrome may also lead to chronic constipation.
To help manage and treat constipation, Dr. Mohta recommends several lifestyle changes:
Drink two to four extra glasses of water each day to help keep stools soft and easier to pass.
Increase your intake of high-fiber foods, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes, which promote regular bowel movements.
Regular exercise can help stimulate the muscles in your digestive system, improving bowel regularity.
In some cases, laxatives or other medical treatments may be recommended, but they should only be used under a doctor’s guidance.

I am severely constipated..i am 30yr old female. Stool is not hard, it's very sticky all the time even after eating clean, but not coming out.. Not getting the urge.. Doctor is unable to identify the problem.. Had colonoscopy also nothing came out.. Taking laxative and fibre supplements helps for some days then again it becomes worse.. Been to multiple doctors but no use.. Please can u suggest what could be the reason that even after eating so much it is not forming bulk.. I am ensuring fiber intake and drinking water but still why i am facing this issue
