Today, our hearts are filled with gratitude on reaching a milestone of 50 episodes. And what better way to end our season as well as usher in the season finale, with the shishya getting the voice of her guru on our RUclips channel.
Ashwni Sharma comes with almost three decades of experience in the corporate world, first as a professional and later as a leadership and executive coach. He is also the founder and MD of ‘A Brighter Life’.
Ashwni began the episode by leading a meditation session for those present, to tap into nothingness. This guided meditation was the perfect start to the episode which talked on how to harness our potential with the help of spiritual practices.
A chance discovery of a book written by Osho as teenager set him on a track of self discovery and spiritualism. Over a period of time, he has honed his skills and used spiritualism as a tool to train people to become a better version of themselves.
Some of the things that stood out today were the fact that not accepting reality is tough, and we skirt around reality until we have to face it. It is then our spiritual journey begins. We learn to be non judgemental, not to just to others but to ourselves as well, with the practice of awareness. ‘Nothing’ here means the ability to live without carrying the baggages of the past.
Today’s episode showcased the symbiotic nature of a guru-shishya relationship to perfection. The shishyas extract what they perceive from the guru’s teachings after letting their inner guru guide. The conversation was deep about ‘nothing’, a paradox that actually made sense after Ashwni’s talk.
