No matter how many laws are passed a criminal can get a gun. They flow over the border everyday. Chicago has the strictest gun laws and they still have one of the highest shooting rates in the country. One look at this kid and you can see he's disturbed. His parents should be held accountable. Not regular law abiding citizens who make up 99% of all gun owners.

Now when I go to my animal shelter I tell them I’m interested in adopting a new pet. But before I can adopt they ask me and verify that I with my official and only name don’t own any pets, because the pets have to get along before I adopt. If I have more pets I have to bring them to the shelter to see it with their own eyes 👀. Later they ask if I have a yard and or a fence. Also they ask about any children in the house and they ask to verify address if you rent you have to verify that the owners are okay with pets. Now, you have to get a dog license and make sure they have all their vaccines. Now……..why this process isn’t done with weapons of war is beyond my understanding.

Some of the questions I heard: What is his motive, where did he purchase the weapons, did he tell his mother what he did, How many weapons did he have in his possession, how did you identify him, when did he place himself on the roof to do shooting, do you have pictures of how he was in disguise that day, were you made aware of his videos posted online, if he was in disguise as a woman how did you identify him, what kind of weapon, did he dump the clothing disguise or have it on him… most of those questions are decent.
Curious as to what "high power rifle, similar to an Armalite Rifle with a 15 designation" was used due to the fact that a semi-auto 5.56 is actually a low to medium power rifle.

Who approved this criminal to have a FOID card? For those who don't know you need to have applied and passed a background check in order to purchase firearms and ammo in the state of Illinois. I'm pretty sure this guy had a criminal background. Drugs, theft, and violent offenses make you disqualified to purchase a firearm legally.

It's a real shame that people are no longer allowed to make a decision to refrain from selling to someone who is obviously mentally unstable. People are not allowed to make the judgment because they are not considered trained or expert in mental health. The authorities we rely on to know these things can't even define the difference between men and women.
Ive been a FFL for 13 years and on many occasions not only have a refused a transfer I have notified the police and ATF if a person shows signs of mental illness or the incapacity to check the firearm for chambered round or has zero knowledge of the firearm
