I made four different styles of Beer Flights for 5 Ounce Tasting Glasses and scaled one design up for full-size Pint Glasses. These make great gifts and could be sold at craft fairs and to craft brew pubs.

These would make great Father's day gifts.
Yes, they would. Don't forget some beer too. :)
Holds a Bluemoon, good enough for me. Great Job Steve.
Ahh, you like Blue Moon? I like anything that's not to dark or bitter.
Nice projects...makes me want an xcarve!
It is a fun machine. I enjoy designing stuff and then seeing it being cut out and all coming together. Having the ability to make signs and personalize things with logos and text is a big addition to my skills.
STEVE CARMICHAEL! Great video.
Thanks Tom! Cheers!
Nice job Steve!
Hi Ralph! Thanks! Hope you are doing well. All is well here. It's hot. lol
Great projects Steve.
Hey Paul, thanks!
Fun project Steve. Who gets to drink all the beer now? Lol
Hey man! Thanks! I drank it all. lol I learned that putting glasses of beer back in the fridge for later makes them really flat. I guess I never opened a beer and waited to drink it before.
Great Job Steve Cheers.🍺
Hey David, thanks!
Very nice! Now I need a CNC machine :)
Thanks, you can make these with regular tools. CNC would be helpful if you get a large order though.
Great ideas Steve. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Todd! These were fun to design.
Thanks for stopping by my channel Steve...joined yours. That is a very slick machine. Nice beer flights! Cheers!!!
Fantastic idea and video thanks for sharing and remember stay safe and make thanks again Steve 🍺🍺👍👍🇬🇧
Thanks Brian! I took down my drum room in the garage so the shop has been a mess. Finally got it back to where I can work out there again. Ready to make more stuff!
Steve! So nice to see you back again. I’ll try some of these on my X-Carve. Thanks for the inspiration!
Hey Mike! Thanks! Yeah, these are fun to make. Glass sizes seem to be all over the place, so you kind of have to make them for specific glasses. Seems like they would be standard sizes, but they're not.
everything ok, 👍👍👍👍
How in the world are you so happy
Very nice Steve, love the various designs
Hey, thank you very much!
now im thirsty.... nice projects. i can't afford an x-carve, but i'm building a diy cnc currently hoping to do similar projects in a while.
Hey Willem! That's cool! I saw a new video on building a CNC with 3D printed parts. It was really cool. Good luck with the build. Adding the ability to make signs and do text and logos is really a plus.
Another perfect video. Great job Steve.
Thanks!
27th. Thanks for another awesome idea and project Steve. Makes me wanna pester my local breweries in town see if they need anything. Make on brother
LOL 27th. Yeah, I am thinking about visiting a few pubs just to see what they use and if they might need some new ones.
Cool Jobs, all looks very nice, thanks for the Idea and stay healthy, cheers Fritz
Hey Fritz, thanks!
Fantastic beer flights Steve! I am not a beer drinker but those would be great to give as gifts! Thanks & hope that you are doing well...... 👍👍😉😉
Hey, thanks! Yeah, I don't drink much beer either. This is the first time I've bought beer in about a year. All is well here, hope you are doing well there!
Nice work Steve. They look great. Two questions: 1. Could you have done both size glasses in one by carving out the smaller holes inside of the bigger holes? 2. Did you drink each beer between boards so each board had fresh beer? ;)
Hey Dale! That's a good idea to make a small pocket in a larger pocket. I found that these glasses are not standard diameters at all. I think I would just make pockets to fit the largest pint glass. I don't drink beer that much anymore, so just the four were enough for me. lol
Great Job Steve, I loved the Walnut one, Keep up the great work bud. 👍 All the best to the family. Take Care.
Thank you Trev! Same to you and yours!
Hi stranger hows things over there? Hope the family are well.
Great video haven't got one of those X-Carve machines so have to try and do by hand, good presents to give out as well.
Stay Safe,
Barry (ENG)
Hi Barry, all is well here. These would be easy to make with regular tools too. I was thinking of scoping out some local pubs to see what they use for these and ask if they needed new ones. Stay safe over there!
Great fun! Very interesting music. Thanks mate.
Thank you Mark!
Steve, Planning on playing Santa this year? Not talkin bout the beard (yea right Mac), talkin bout how all that beer might affect the body beautiful you’ve been working on. BTW, lookin good buddy! And you haven’t lost your touch on makin great videos and woodworking also!
Hey Mac! I was thinking about being Santa, but decided to trim the beard. I would enjoy doing that though. I had cut out beer for a while, but had to get some for this beauty shots in this project. I don't really miss it. I want to start making more videos but it's just so hot out there now.
G’day Mate, well from Australia to the USA we say Cheers to the beautiful 🍺
Hey there Sumo! Thanks! Cheers to you too!
What is your feed and speed that you use? The products look really nice.
💯💯👍❤️
Hello Giovanni! How have you been? Hope all is well in your part of the world. Steve...
The designs are great. Is there any way I can get the file that you used on the software and just modify it? Thanks
Hey, thanks! I designed it in Easel. Here's a link to the project. There is a blue 'Open in Easel' button and you should be able to download a zip with an account, or at least grab screenshots so you can size and print in Word or something.
Around 5:25 it might have benefitted from the new ramping feature.
Hey Harry! I haven't played with that feature yet. I think I will do that this weekend. There is some other new stuff I need to try too.
Now I am getting very thirsty. ;-)
Ha ha, I thought about you when I saw the Blue Moon, so I grabbed it. You're an influencer. lol
HI, Starving Youngun and I've always heard that drinking that stuff would make hair grow out of your ears and nose! Now if you'll excuse me I've got to go hunt some pliers and a torch! Remain calm and stay cool in Hotlants a and GBWYall!
Hi Lewie! Hope you are staying cool! It's been a while since I had 4 beers in one day. lol
@@SteveCarmichael My last toot was in the tropics in 1972 and one pony Miller since at least 30 years ago. Water from then on but maybe some other stuff would help flush out kidney stones but better not take a chance. We're fine as old people that're very goofy are. 70-ish up here. Come on up and bring a coat. You'd freeze at 70 being used to your home climate! And I don't think our sugar levels could handle it!
How do I access a particular video from your collection ???? ( converting an antique radio to a blue tooth speaker )
Go to my main channel page, then click the magnifying glass at the end of the menu bar to search for a keyword, like bluetooth. ruclips.net/user/carmichaelworkshop
Been a long time since you made a video are you going to build another guitar
I know, about 2-3 months. I had to take down my drum room in the garage, so I finally got the shop put back together and I'm actually able to move around out there. I bought the parts to make one, but lately I've been buying them. lol I have a telecaster body I cut from a tree that fell at my childhood home, so finishing that is on my to do list.
First!
Hey, thanks Silent G!!!
