@@mokihaname He should TOTALLY do movies of all the Jim Kjielgaard books, too - it would be PHENOMENAL. They can do soooo much more now with pin cams and stuff than when they made cheesy animal movies in the 1950s.

If they do this live action, I don't want the original animation movie remake. Just do the cartoon series version and remake that story into live action. Those are more interesting and refreshing to watch instead of the same old boring kidnapped baby plot. I want to see dark Rapunzel like the cartoon series.
Is too early for a Tangled live action movie because they haven’t made a sequel to the Tangled movie because Disney is making live action of Disney movies from the 20th century like Pinocchio, Snow White, cinderella The Little Mermaid, Jungle Book, Aladdin, Lion King, Etc Well Disney movies like Tangled, frozen, Moana, Encanto, Princess and the frog, Etc those Disney movies are in the 21st century so if you guys want a Tangled live action it would be years ahead like somewhere in the 2030s or 40s .
Tangled probably isn’t getting a sequel ever. The series actually acts as one because it does have a story instead of being merely slice of life. Rapunzel does become queen in the end. (Though yes I’m still so mad Tangled didn’t get a sequel)
I’m late to this. But I feel like Tangled would be tricky to make a live action. Especially because of Rapunzel’s long hair and how ‘indestructible’ it is. It would be a pain to wear a wig or extensions for a whole session or to do multiple scenes per day. Especially since the hair is really long.
True, but CGI would make it worse, and if it were my movie, I would never think of making people go through that eye trauma. Painful though it may be, if the actress is committed to the role, she'll endure it. And let's not forget, half of the film's runtime, her hair is carried like a heavy shopping bag otherwise, so she'll still get help to lift it up the rest of the way. Why not?
