i came across this sometime back and thought that a hindi video on the subject? eh... not worth it.. But then i listened to this and then realized that you have done a brilliant job. Turned out to be one of the best introductions to the subject. Thanks and keep it up.
Note :- Hadoop keeps intermediate data on disk, spark keeps intermediate data in memory to reduce the reads and writes from disk. In mapreduce there are too many trips to HDFS, it has to read and write data multiple times from disk. SO when I say "In hadoop data is processed on disk" , the data I am referring to is intermediate data, Will be uploading new video for this concept of In memory processing and On disk processing soon.
OMG...I was laughing literally for a few seconds then started back this video again and found it really helpful...Thanks, Sandeep for this fun learning I started this tutorial at 12:30 AM and could not step back to my previous tutorial

hi sandeep, had a query, since hadoop has few drawbacks n I also came across that now no on is using hadoop and which ever applications use to use hadoop will be migrated... so what technology should we be learning?? is it just mapreduce that is not been used or complete hadoop cluster?? plz reply

RAM tho volatile h fr power loss hone pr data loss hojayega how spark will manage this? aur spark data engineering se kaisa related h please as soon as posible reply kedena
hi, sandip as you said hadoop dosnt procesed data in memory, but as i know cpu never perform operation in disk... it brings data into memory (memory buffer io.sort.mb) and after performing sort and other operation spill into disk..on the other hand spark keep temporary data into ram(cache memory) ..let me know if i understood wrong
Yes you are absolutely right, spark keeps intermediate data in memory to reduce the reads and writes from disk, whereas in mapreduce there are too many trips to HDFS, it has to read and write data multiple times from disk, plus spark utilizes LRU cache effectively, I guess i didn't conveyed information properly regarding on disk processing and in memory processing, i should've explained it in detail, Thanks for pointing out, will be updating it.
bro please add some more videos of Spark.I am eagerly waiting for your new videos.Your style of explaining the concepts are amazing. Please add few more videos.
Hi Sandeep they way you explained is mind-blowing and extraordinary that is very easy to understand and to develop the basic concepts .I would request if you can please explain the partitioning concept in SPARK.

As spark doesn't store data..
Whenever power loss or any issue occurss..
execution plan can be re executed..

you have given example of RDD but you have defined RDD as Var datatype but RDD is immutable , So it should be Val datatype.
