I’ve been dying to buy a boat, but when I watch you guys tackle different issues, it scares the ever living shit out of me. Can I just sail on your boat? She is beautiful. 😂😂😜😜👍👍

What is your background, Rich. You seem to handle all the problems presented. Way to go Mate.

Thanks Doug, I really appreciate that. You want the long story, or the short? OK, long it is...
I grew up working for my Dad's construction company. When I was a young child he taught me how to take things apart and put them back together with a minimal of leftover parts. He taught me plumbing, electrical, woodworking, and structural mechanics before I even entered High School.
Wood & metal shop were a joke for me in high school, so I took Electronics, Architecture, and Mechanical Drawing as electives. As a hobby, dad & I worked together to build race cars. We took them out to the local 1/4-mile drag strip once a week and ran them 'til they blew up. Then we would take her home and fix what broke. I learned a $hitload about internal combustion engines and automatic transmissions during that period of my life.
I didn't go to college (for more than about 2 semesters because structured education isn't my thing), but rather, I went almost directly into the building trades, until the time in which I tested for, and acquired my own California State Contractor's License. In 2000 I was hired as a Construction Inspector, babysitting guys doing what I've been doing all my life...aaaaaandddddd, that's pretty much the gist of what I've been up to for the last 20 years, give or take. In the interim, I have spent some time working on 4000 volt airport runway lighting and have had FAA and Homeland Security clearance to do so. I also spent some time in a County Jail (not as an inmate) working to fix what the hooligans would break. Carpentry and remodel construction on the side...
When we purchased the boat back in late 2012 I didn't know squat about fiberglass and epoxy. Kinda' learned that along the way...

@@svrambleon That explains a lot on how you fix most things on Ramle On. It is great to have a logical out-look when addressing the issues at hand. Likes your input on putting things back together with minimal parts left over! my logical outlook has saved my bacon on many occasion as well. You must thank your dad for the great grounding.
