OK, I think I have the loophole conundrum figured out, Thomas: On my initial viewing of your content (on my phone) marked "LIVE", the screen is black except for the "archery loop" to the left; said content can be RE-viewed, immediately after closing and reopening the channel, and the video is then full-screen and restored to its typical glorious perfection!
