Hey @SusilTamrakar-n7u, thanks for the love! ❤️ It's always great to hear from my players. How's your training going? Anything specific you're working on?

hopefully this helps and it probably will cus the thing about playing all man at the park or at the center is that if they foul you depending were you are its just a mess up cus im tall and people foul me all the time and i should be making the points easily and this would be good to finish through contact preventing somebody getting the rebound or me forgetting to call foul cus its not pickup or mainly any bad thing might even dunk on them

Another great video !!! Here is a question... When using the backboard, any hints on finding the "sweetspot" for how soft the backboard touch needs to be based on the backboard material ??? I am only lucky enough to play once a week on a glass backboard and I struggle to lock in my bank shots (too much rebound)

something i was told to aim at the square andinside of it your layups shouldnt be outside of that now im guessing that if you want to score outside the backboard is to 'spin the ball cus if you spin it on the layup the right way at the right speed it will go in now im not the person to tell you how the spin works and the right way to score on the outter square using spin cus im half good at it myself but id say spin the ball towards the basket but it has to hit the back board if your gonna do that im sure there are videos explaining this basically do what kyrie does on the backboard its probably very simple i just dont know the fundamental on how i should curve the ball and what ways to curve it like my touch is on silver

Interesting. Thank you for your question. Here is a best practice for learning how to use the backboard (no matter the material): stay close to the basket and shoot layups, close range jumpers 2-3 ft away from the basket. Do this using different spots on the backboard. Then back up to the perimeter area and drive to the basket shooting layups and close range jumpers, again using the backboard. This will allow you to determine where the sweet spot is for you to hit on the backboard and make your shots. You making your shots is all about your touch and shot control, not the backboard material. Hope this helps. Keep ATTACKing!

Good points. I don't teach players to practice spinning the ball when using the backboard as it is definitely an elite move that takes a lot of finesse and is more often done in the flow of a specific play.
If you do want to practice it, I would start with form shooting: stay close to the basket and shoot layups with different spins. Do this using different spots on the backboard. Then back up to the perimeter area and drive to the basket shooting layups with different spins. This will allow you to determine where the sweet spot is for you to hit on the backboard and make your shots with spin. Hope this helps. Again, I would stick to practicing shots without the spin though. Keep shooting!
