    Great video with lots of wisdom. I would like to add that one of the most important things about the weight room is training proper movement patterns. For example, activating your glutes and not allowing your knees to cave in (knee valgus) during a deadlift and then focusing on that when jumping and landing... very important for explosive power and injury prevention. However, once you gain the right movement patterns, they don't have to be trained in the weight room quite as often.

    I have a question, so human to human strength, say you don’t have another human to train against, could you possibly do exercises for your body that are more resistance based, (throwing out an example here) maybe isometrics? Or does it not work like that???

    • @ByAnyMeansBasketball
      @ByAnyMeansBasketball  4 месяца назад +3

      Great question… in my opinion, you can’t replace training with another human to build human-to-human strength. You can build up all the other ones so that it’s easier, but you’ll need other humans too at some point!

    **Important question** With your workouts on youtube how many times should I do the same workout before I switch it up? I feel like I should change it once I've gotten all the aspects of the workout down and can do it with relative ease, so I should change it so I can continue to challenge myself, but what do y'all have to say about it?
