    Thank you, this was an excellent demonstration of the combine tool. I did have a problem trying to combine components rather than bodies in the same component.

    Great video!, knew it in Sketchup but moved to Fusion and lost this tool. Keep up the good work!

    components? bodies? containers? i litterally do not know what any of that means

    Thank you! 👍 For 3D printing the threads, bolt or nut, would require an offset. I'm not sure what would be the best implemention of the needed offset.

      I know what you mean. I'm working on new videos "3D printing with Fusion 360". Stay tuned 😉
      In general, around 0.2 mm should be a good clearance for printing.

      @@Fusion360NewbiesPlus Great! 👍
      Yes, 0.02mm for 3D printing clearances is what I most often use.
      Thx again! 😃

    But in this case you don't have a gap between threads. You should have a tolerace

    • @Fusion360NewbiesPlus
      @Fusion360NewbiesPlus  4 года назад

      Of course tolerance is important, you can add it after the cut command. I just wish there was an option to add tolerance when you use the cut option, it can save extra steps ;)

    What if the body is not highlited? So that I can't select in the the Combine command.

    Good video, thanks. But your "bolt" is actually called a "Nut".

    Won’t the bolt not have any tolerance?

    So what if you wanted the cylinder to join at an offset position?

    Great video! Just one doubt: After combining two bodies, how to move them in a plane?

    • @Fusion360NewbiesPlus
      @Fusion360NewbiesPlus  3 года назад

      You don't need to move anything if you are building with Top-Down process!

      The Bolt was imported from McMaster-Carr, it has it's own menu item in Fusion 360 under the Insert Menu. Also check out videos on inserting McMaster-Carr into Fusion 360 ruclips.net/video/AlBorT2IwXw/видео.html
