@@thedaingeon I feel sorry for those that are having issues with the Vava Chroma. I ordered mine the day after launch 9/13 from the indigo site with tyhe 120 inch screen. It arrived on time when they said, I have no complaints it looks fantastic. Did the most recent uodate and used some of your settings from the video and I agree that the picture quality improved. I use a Nvidea sheild to stream not the internal Vava apps and I couldn't be happier. This is my 4th Projector in 12 years and it is the best buy far. Thanks for producing this video.

I have a strong suspicion that there are a lot of manufacturing inconsistencies in the Chroma models that have been distributed so far. I keep seeing people posting that theirs look great but I can't get mine to look right no matter what I try , and I'm not new to this game. I've been pretty nitpicky about proper calibration for home theater screens for over 25 years now. I was just watching your video again today and caught something that has been bugging me since the Super Bowl. The reds look really bad on my unit, (lots of people had this problem at first, but seemed better after the last two patches). Anyway, when I was trying to watch the Super Bowl, the helmets and uniforms for the Bengals looked very red, not orange, and nothing I adjusted would fix it. I still have my VAVA 4k, so the Chroma went back in it's box to await an update. The first one fixed nothing for me so back in the box it went again. This last update helped the ghosting quite a bit, but only in Game mode, and the picture still doesn't look as good as my original VAVA 4k, but I didn't box it back up right away, I decided to mess with it some more and give it a chance. I noticed that flames and explosions still look really odd, so I decided to bring up some Bengals footage last night and yup, helmets and uniforms were Ferrari red. Everything I tried to get them to orange either didn't work at all, or made the rest of the picture look like crap. Then I came back to your video today and saw in the first football footage you had, there is a little pic of the Bengals down at the bottom of the screen around the 4-minute mark, and hey! The uniforms are orange, the way they should be. And this is BEFORE you performed the update... So now my question is: Is there something physically wrong with my Chroma? are further updates not going to fix it? The ghosting is bad enough but the color just looks off in most situations and I can't seem to dial it in. Between the two of them, there is no way I can use this as my main home theater projector, the VAVA 4k I have still looks much better.
Anyway, thanks for your video, that little smidge of Bengals footage at the bottom of your screen confirms a suspicion I've had since I first set this thing up. Now I think I need to get in touch with VAVA and see what can be done about it.
Have you tried the lastest update on Nov 3rd ? Can you make a short video on the differences to followup with that ? Very Curious

Thanks for the video, been catching your stuff since you showed up in the FB Chroma group. Is there a reason why you are not using the full size of the screen in this video? Is that still the 115" AKIA CLR4? I'm going to try some of the settings you are using, but so far mine still has really bad ghosting in anything other than Game Mode, even after the latest update 😞
I put it on a New cabinet and haven’t moved the screen up yet so I just centered it for now. Yes it’s still the akia CLR4 (amazing screen). Thanks for subscribing, I hope to make some more videos soon

Is the vava chroma good is the picture quality good is the picture speed good and can I game with my Serie x in 4k 60 fps sorry vor my very bad englisch I'm a German dude
Hi, I have the vava chroma and the ps5 … I play call of duty and the graphics are very good( I don’t use any projector screen just the plain wall and I get very good graphics…the vava chroma is great without a projector screen. But you have to switch the vava to Game mode always to reduce the for any lagging issue.. one you switch the vava to game mode there is no problem or issues. I get 50 or more kills each match.
Use disc for demos instead
Yes I did that, fast forward to the spears and munsil discs portion of the video and at the end of each calibration I use the disc video demo footage
