As a blind person, I would say that this story is completely accurate. I’ve actually had this happen to me once, not with meth heads, but with family members who think it’s a good idea to watch me going about my business without me knowing that they’re watching (my little brother likes to do this because he thinks it’s funny). I love the line about not wanting to feel for door knobs because it’s so accurate! Also, the element of the text to speech app is very on point and I love how it contributes to the last scare. I’m actually using the dictate feature to type this right now. 10 out of 10.
Heyyyyy! You better use that speech to type option! I use it all the time. But thats just because im an ass that likes to type a lot. Lol i just talk it out now. My family thinks im nuts as it seems im talking to myself a lot. I tell em chill out im just twitter fingering on the interwebs 😂
Okay, usually I just listen to these stories while I do homework, but this had my full attention the entire time. It seems so real I guess, not sure how to explain. It’s easy to get sick of a random, unstoppable monster that kills people without motive, but I can never get over what sounds like a genuine tale of horror
I felt the same way about this one, I'm thinking because its so detailed and insightful, as if the author knew what its like to be blind as he wrote it
You know what would be scarier? If they were here in the wonderful state of California they could claim squatter's rights! All they have to do is lie and tell the cops they pay rent and the cops will leave and inform you that you can't kick them out or risk being arrested. Isn't that terrifying?
Probably one of the best "surprise there's still one more monster" in a first person horror I've heard on this channel. I love how the author uses the way the protagonist was telling the story through speech to text to give us one more scare that was both genuinely surprising, made sense in universe, and didn't feel forced. Bravo to the writer!
As a blind person myself, this is so relatable. I never had an experience like this, and I hope I never have one. If I ever move out of my parents’ place to live by myself I’ll try to be as careful as possible to make sure there’s no one else in my home. Remember, even if this is a creepypasta this is a very possible situation for us.
I’m blind too. This is actually a fear I have sometimes. But my dogs would always let me know if anyone else was in the house. I love these stories that give readers our perspective.
OMG!!! I related to this Creepy pasta so much. I’ve been blind my whole life and The way this story was written is exactly how a blind person would view the world. And if something like that ever happened, that would be the exact reaction of a blind person. Absolutely brilliant work, keep it up!
Man, I swear these are the scariest ones. Like, this could legitimately happen. The ending is perfect also, if leaves a few scenarios to the imagination that feel real and not just abrupt or forced. Great story to the person who wrote it.
That story was so realistic it could actually happen. That ending made it better by a lot though. Cheers for writing a great story author. And thanks for narrating it Creepsmcpasta.

That was fucked up ! I will say that I've witnessed first hand just how more than capable blind people are, used to work in a high-pressure office environment with 3 blind people and all of them were far better at the job than anyone else. I have a world of respect for anyone with an impairment, living proof that if you want to do something, you can.
I'm not blind but I am disabled and this is why my service dog is a rottweiler. They're sweet, loving dogs, like giant teddy bears, but they're still absolute _bears_ and will happily maul someone if they threaten their owner. They get extra protective of the elderly, kids, and the disabled since they're pretty smart and realize they need a little extra protecting. I have balance problems due to a spinal cord injury and even though I never trained her to do this she'll tackle other dogs off me if they jump on me and she'll stand in between me and other dogs if they're running around and look like they might knock into me.
Been listening to this channel before bed for about 4 years now and this story was probably the scariest one ive heard here so far. Hats off to the writer! And ofc Creeps too for amazing narrating
Yes. It's like the cliche "so im writing this to warn you that- oh hold on there is someone at the door qhsobqciejkwsj" ending to a creepypasta but actually done right.
Being disabled makes stories like this more terrifying. It's easy to feel completely useless when I imagine dangerous situations like this happening to me.
And it's stuff that makes me hope that if I get into a crippling, potentially lethal accident, that death just takes me. Aside from needles and flying, not having the fullest ability to navigate the world around me terrifies me. I have mad respect for those who feel or do otherwise, but I personally would rather not be alive an unable to see or move properly. Granted, I use corrective lenses, so in the inevitable periods of time I lose my glasses and can't immediately retrieve them, it can be terrifying. I can't imagine life without sight altogether.
These stories do not usually scare me all that much, but as a blind person myself, I can definitely imagine what something like that must be like. It is also quite realistic, although 3 people at the same time is probably a bit much. :) still, I guess I am looking forward to living on my own even less now. :)
This is one of the better stories ive heard driving home at night in the rain listening to this when i got home to my big empty house i live alone in i sat there for a few minutes then checked the whole house

As someone who lives near Chattanooga, I was genuinely surprised to hear it! Usually you hear about the more popular places like Nashville, that was a first!
I became legally blind few years ago and i thought but I can still function normally because my wife is with me but then she had to be hospitalized for three days and I almost burnt the house down and I almost lost my cat so I know how this character in the story feels, it’s really creepy sometimes especially if you are alone
I have a blind friend who lives alone. this is something I have thought about and worried about happening to him. or that I'll visit him and a stranger will be there.
I find this more depressing than horror, the idea of these people taking advantage of someone who never did anything to them. Hell there might not even be a third, it might just be a symptom of PTSD

So the author of the story wants me to believe that a person, who's been blind for 30 years, couldn't hear any footsteps or smell any odors prior to the events of this story? Main character just magically started to hear footsteps when the author found it convenient.
I mean you could just walk really quietly. And during the moments where the dude felt the foot he probably was too panicked to even hear anything fully
That last line actually gave me goose bumps. The insinuation that the text to speech picked it up makes the whole story come together so well!
