Mind. Blown. Your creativity is beyond amazing. It's so much fun to watch how you can transform bits and pieces into something so fabulous. I LOVE the tip about reducing the fluff on velcro.
I found some cloth "Pioneer Woman" place mats on clearance at Walmart the other day and bought 'em up! They have a good sturdy material on both sides in different patterns and am in the middle of making four planners to match different purses for the Summer using this tutional...I also bought up some cloth place mats at the "Dollar Store" (the Easter patterns were so adorable!) and created pouches for these as well...Love this channel you are so created!
OMG! This is crazy adorable! I absolutely love denim! One thing I have to say to you is thank you for being so informative about your creations. I am always hesitant to try DIY's I find on pintrest or youtube because it always seems that 1 or 2 steps are left out setting up a complete failure. But after doing several of your projects I have never had a problem. What a generous person you are! Oh and that bow just put it over the top! Sending good vibes to you, the boys & hubby.
I love reusing denim so this planner cover is right up my alley. Your tutorial is very detailed and hopefully I could try making a cover of my own. Thx xo
I live for tutorials like this, I've been waiting for one of these for a while, so I am glad to see you back to creating things. You are such an inspiration! Thank you for being so generous with your ideas and creations! Julie
Yay!!!! I love your channel.....I thought about doing my own ink refills for my printer, but I am scared I will wreck my printer... I try and watch all your videos even your hauls cause you give me so many good ideas!!!
Just got done making a pencil pouch. OMG! It turned out so freaking cute. I followed your directions, and used the basic supplies. Thank you again for sharing.
Your video was spot on for my no sew denim cover💕 THANK YOU for the easy to follow steps. Without all the extra distractions (loud music). Exactly what I had envisioned.💕
Hello my name is Veronica and I have been watching you for years I have seen your family grow and I watched your big moving journey and all the great diy,'s for moving and moving into a new house was amazing I have watched your children and dogs grow lol but you always kept it going my best phrase you have that u say all the time is "I'm not about that life" I use it all the time lol anyway just wanted to let you know that I enjoy your diys because it's so true you don't have to spend alot to have something beautiful and I'm about that life lol congratulations on all your success I'm proud of your accomplishments keep creating god bless
So glad you posted this video! I watched it a while ago and remembered it when I got a mini planner at Michaels on black Friday. Can't wait to create my own. :)
I enjoy watching your videos. Just wanted to let you know that at 6:55 in the video Joann's, Walmart and Target all carry something called Fray Check in their sewing departments that will permanently stop the frays. It's pretty cheap at $3.99 per bottle.
Hi, I'm new to crafting and I have been watching all your hauls and tutorials. I love all your projects in crafting you have been teaching me how to coupons and you have a beautiful family. thank you so very much.
OMG lady....your making my inspiration go haywire again!! I love working with fabric and embroidery, crochet and knitting...this gives me SO much more ideas!! I think I need to see where I can get that poster board asap!!
Pretty awesome idea! Last year Dollar Tree had denim stickers, i think they would be pretty cool to decorate the front and back covers. Idk you, but i had no idea how to use them since i bought then, but they were so cute so I had to buy them lol. TFS!
+juliana22 yes!!!! Great idea! Thanks for throwing that out there! That is what I love about our community here. We can all mesh ideas together and create from them. Love it! Tfw💕
coupontoprovide I just purchased denim card stock from Dollar tree it had 3 different denim patterns...I just did a planner with it with denim washi...keep ur eyes out
Just one little tip for working with fabric that trays. Go to any fabric store and ask for Fray Check. It's is a small bottle but it lasts forever and it is super easy to use. Drying time is minimal, and lasts for the life of a garment even though washing.
I watches this tutorial last night and LOVE IT! I can't wait to make this. I need to share a good buy with you. I recently found your channel, and a few weeks ago watched some of the planner vids you did. I wonder where the heck I've been hiding-I didn't even know this style of planner was even out there until watching your tutorial. I really dig this kind of thing. So in researching prices and brands, I'd not been able to get a planner kit as I've got a tight budget with other stuff going on right now. However, an office supply store had the half-size notebook in the disc (or is it disk?) planner style on sale on their website for 6.79. I found a cover I thought was pretty (planned to make my own personal covers courtesy of your tutorials), and made my way to the store yesterday after work to get it. Well, surprise, they didn't have the design I wanted in stock. I thought of ordering it online, but then I noticed they had ones with plain covers that were 7.99 and get this- on sale for HALF off PLUS a free accessory!! They were wanting to get rid of their older stock to make way for new cover designs. So I got a disc planner style notebook with a plain blue cover and a package of 25 clear page protectors (which I want to make into dashboard pockets and cool little pages) for 4!! I got a little ruler and a pack of plain pages for an additional 2.20 for both. The ruler and paper pack were an impulse purchase, I admit. But I had to share that with you because I almost never come across deals like that! 6.20 and I have my own planner ready for me to set up. I found a website that offers free printables and downloaded a calendar format I was happy with and I am ready to go customizing my pages and cover. Thank you for your videos, as I agree: making a pretty and interesting planner that is functional and fun to use is what keeps you using it. I used to buy planners but quit using them because the layouts were never right for me. This offers me unlimited options for creativity and making it perfectly useful for my needs. :) Looking so forward to getting this started, and thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience!
+Carrie DosSantos I have to say that what I got most from this is that once you opened your mind to creating on a budget you were able to see the deals and piece together your successful mission. How cool is that! I am so excited for you and appreciate your comment and enthusiasm. I try my best to share deals or way of thinking info here so I do hope you continue to enjoy. I am happy to share this journey with you so all I can say is have fun! 💕👍🏼
