You know... I see your point. My ghost engine (Dread 13)'s original story was actually not hitting a tree, but taking a turn going WAAAY too fast. I honestly think the old story was actually more realistic, now. 😔 Also... spot on with the part where the ghosts were supposed to kill them 5 minutes ago XD. I personally think that if a ghost was REALLY going to kill you, he'd do so in, at most, 3 seconds without saying anything at all. Just an ear-splitting or creepy whistle.
Yeah. Logic tends to operate a lot differently in the Tidewater Universe. XD Also, taking a curve too fast would probably be more plausible in Dread 13's case, or since it was a foggy night, maybe even blowing a red signal and rear ending another train would do it. A tree might be able to derail a train, but in order for that to work, it'd probably have to be a California Redwood or a Douglas Fir tree, both of which I'm pretty sure don't grow in the Oklahoma Ozarks. You might get some heavy front end damage with an average sized tree, but it'd be nowhere strong enough to derail a train.

Eugene believed someone was pushing him into the "tree" which was on the "crossing" which were both hallucinations/mirages from the fog (why would there be a crossing in the Ozark Mountains?), so he assumed it was Frank, when it was really his own work-obssessed insanity making him roar down the hill at 70+ MPH and kill everything.
When the 0-8-0 said that he “died eating waffles,” by how stupid it ridiculous it sounds, I instantly cracked up and laughed for a solid 3 to 4 minutes 😂

Also the untold story of Timothy movie is not that bad it’s an awesome ghost movie because I love it so much and it’s not a poorly written Thomas recolor ghost train. You must be referring to Kevin. Kevin is actually an EMD GP38-2. My friend Ryan voiced him, and I didn't have any ideas as to how Kevin's voice should sound. So, I gave Ryan some creative freedom with Kevin's voice.
As far as I know, the Clinchfield Railroad never had any mountain types, and the 311 in trainz that everyone knows about is a complete work of fiction. There was a 2-8-0 on the Clincfield numbered 311 however.
