My name's Paige and I am in my third year studying Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge. I am a member of Jesus College and make regular vlogs of my day to day life at uni, including lectures, supervisions, and social activities.

I can enormously relate, too! I like to have the most complete and understandable notes, so I spend hours reading books, internet websites or watching youtube videos to have as much information in them as possible. In the end, when I start doing my homework, I can barely do it without looking and analyzing my notes, realising that, even with all the reaearch done, I still do not have the habilities to do problems :'v

I admire the consistent communication and friend-like relationship you have with your parents. Not everyone does have that privilege, not including me.
I figured the key is to keep the communication consistent and discuss things rather bicker the mick out of something. Both ough to compensate and listen (it's too easy to put me over everything).
I hope everything is well for you and may your last semester be as fruitful as the many other ones you had back in Cambridge.

Hi Paige, I’m wishing you and every college students all the best this term. It hasn’t been easy for anyone but I think as I’ve continued to push myself, I’ve learned new things about myself as well. I’m going through one of those downward slopes where I am hanging on extensions except now I have tests and big project deadlines that can’t be put off any further. Keep doing what you’re doing and thanks for sharing your vlogs with us all.
As a third year science undergrad, I truly feel how rough it is to fall short of books and library while staying locked at home....so I turned the dining table into a new 'study-place' 😅

Unfortunately, my teachers have taken lockdown as liberty and aren't actually uploading any work for me let alone having online classes- even after I complained to my school. This means that I have no idea where I should be regarding workload and curriculum. I'm currently in year 12 and I'm finding it really difficult to estimate how much I should be doing each day. However, I never feel as though I am doing enough and do around 8-10 hours a day of work. Whether it is productive or not, I am always drained by the end of the day and am losing motivation very quickly. Do you have any tips for a student like me who is hoping to apply to Cambridge next year? (ps. I am aware this is a very orthodox situation but any guidance right now would be more than I've had from my school :))
Please keep going I have exams in two weeks and I am doing my best so that I get better grades than last term's ones they were disappointing. I am hoping and willing for better ones.
