Finally someone said it ADG profondo is by far the best of the ADG line I tried both profumo & profondo and I couldn't understand the hype behind profumo it smells a heck a lot mature more like an old man vibe definitely not suitable for everyone on the other hand profondo smells like a younger more fresher and a lot more modern take on the DNA
Profumo is a bit older, and had less competition when it came out. It was never as huge as "Door Savage", but the profumo was still pretty high up there.

Light Blue will never be obsolete. It’s a Huge seller on Amazon and outsells eau Intense big time. Eau Intense is overrated. Immensely popular among fragheads only. It’s linear and grossly synthetic to my nose. I just don’t get the love for eau Intense. I’m willing to bet if you did a side-by-side light blue will win

I like SF Enssenzial Acqua Blu. It's a BDC Dylan Blue combo. Picked up a 50ml at Marshalls for $16 last week. If you see it get it! I've been curious about TDH Fraiche for a while. Replacing the vetiver with patchouli at the base sounds better. The original is a little to green for me.
Can you imagine if someone did smash all your fragrances....Boy would that be a lot of doe down the drain not including your rare and hard to find fragrances...I would be fit to be tied if someone stole all my fragrances....Very nice review Ash!
I agree the ADG now is watery. The original formulation had oakmoss and it wasnt so watery. I haven't tried Essenza. Only the original, Profumo and Profoundo.

I am fairly new to the fragrance hobby. I currently have started off my collection with Polo green, D&G the one edp, azzaro wanted by night, Versace Dylan blue, Versace oud noir, armaf club de unit edp, John varvatos dark rebel, Mont blanc individual, Versace Eros, black is black modern oud, Bentley absolute, and bentley for men intense. I live in sw fl. My question is, since sw fl only dips below 70 degrees for a couple of weeks per year, should I primarily focus exclusively on summer fragrances year round?
Not sure what 70 degrees is exactly in Celsius since im european but, i wear ultramale which is not really a typical summer scent in summer when i want to, i would just buy the frags u like and maybe consider per day if its gonna choke people out or not. If you have a climate controlled room i'd say a winter scent can still be used in summer. I love sweet scents but they can indeed sometimes be too much in summer so i get your point tho.

cologne is too unusual and is not fresh but sweet for a summer frag, it might be the lightest version from the line, but not compared to anything else. cool is too aggressive
I do not like Costa Azura at all. something in it smells off putting to me and I just cant get past it. it's also too much of a "green scent" for my liking. I blind bought Mandarino di amafi and was happy but glad I sampled costa azzura first.
Tom Ford doesn't do his warm weather fragrances very well,expensive too. No Nautica Voyage & Perry Ellis 360 Red. Two of the best inexpensive summer fragrances ever.
Voyage gets boring quickly imo and Profondo is AdG, 360 Red is the original AdG's clone, I guess Ash only wanted one AdG on the list and Profondo is better than 360R. They are not bad, per se, but I can understand why he wouldn't keep them in the top ten.
This seems to be a much disagreed upon question. I can see both sides of the argument. I would say yes for milder summer evenings, but no for high heat summer days.

In my opinion, the Thierry Mugler A Men Pure Energy/Shot smells like bathroom disinfecting cleaner... unfortunately, the construction of that fragrance does not work for me :/

If you like Dior Homme Cologne on the cheap imho is Zara Vibrant Leather Cologne not sure if it's still available, but dirt cheap compared to Dior

Essenza too thick for you? I found the original is quite floral and watery while Essenza is thick and dense.

Versace eau fraiche for 50 bucks at TJ Max today. Bout 30 bucks off. One of my fav summer time frags

Profundo is better than profumo.. however profumo lasts almost 2x as long. If Profundo lasted longer it would be the runaway winner imo.
If a fragrance doesn't last long... Thats a deal breaker for me!
Pretty much every fragrance with bright citrus notes has poor performance
I wish they still made Gianfranco Ferre Bergamotto Marino as well. Man that one is gorgeous. And it last longer than Dior Homme cologne on me
