I kept getting an error stating the I2C was abnormal. I purchased a new JCID cable from Chinaphoenix phone repair company and it worked flawlessly. Hope this helps someone. I finally was able to restore mine. It took a year of waiting due to my phone not having a compatible jailbreak (XS max on IOS 15.1), but one has finally been released. Thanks you. I just wish these were more available in the US.

I have tried True Tone capture for iPhone 12 and 12 pro with original Receiver flex… but the device shows model does not support please advise. Even I have downloaded the upgrade v2.0 and installed it in the device still same

If the phone can be jailbroken, this will work. Hopefully there’s a 16.2 compatible jailbreak… If not, make sure to not upgrade any further. I had to wait over a year to fix my Face ID because I was on 15.1 with an A12 chip (XS max) and that’s how long it took for a working jailbreak to be released. Also the cable has to be a JCID cable. Otherwise the chip is unrecognizable. Learned that the hard way.

Does it matters if the front camara has been raplacement with an aftermarket, could be still fix?
If by front camera you mean the whole assembly (infrared cam, selfie cam and dot projector) than the answer is no. It will never work again.
