This video is exactly what I needed! I’ve been doing a bunch of scapular depression exercises my physiotherapist gave me but felt there is very little depression movement going on! Quick question - I don’t have a cable machine at home what can i use as alternative?
Use a resistance band. They work differently in some ways, but it's still a great rehab tool. Start light, hold the pull and slow down the release. I've read that doing your rehab movements this way helps build up your connective tissues and builds up the muscle tissues.
Is this exercice better to start off instead of the exercice u recommend in the other scapula winging video, since i not only have wining scapula i also have tear in the shoulder
I had a rotator cuff tear; frozen shoulder and labrum tear. Yes, follow the app, for me, this exercise and the “MILKER” progression fixed my winged scapula in 9 months.
I didn't notice large improvements until closer to 3 months, did you buy the app, or are you just piecing together workouts from RUclips? I've done privates with their team, as well, used the app. Knee's are 90% better after about 13 weeks, and shoulder is about 60% better. It's a long process, pending your injuries and how long you've had them.
@@PantherBlackAudiRS ive just been going by these youtube videos. In finding that isometrics and eccentric band exercise help more than any of these exercises
@@xezerik62I might sound like a shill but I think for the shoulder exercises it is worth getting (at a minimum) 2 sessions with Zach online to get the form down for the shoulder exercises (hips/core can be figured out on your own). The shoulder exercises require you to be very very diligent about form, ESPECIALLY the 1 arm row. I think of it like an investment in yourself, I've already spent a few thousand on PTs locally, so this is nothing really..
@@xezerik62Also if you don't want to buy a session, just pay for the access to the videos. They're more in depth than RUclips and have tons of progressions, as well as being more up to date.
1 month is no where near enough time to see real change. It’s just like any other muscle/ muscle group u train at gym, realistically 3 months minimum to see real change
We don't know your language, I wish instead of talking a lot, you would practice silently so that the athletes who see you from different countries of the world would understand...🙏🙏
Legend finally posted 🤣🤣 please do more videos. You’re helping community more than all RUclips pts combined
Wow. This is incredible knowledge. Qn: Does this activate the rhomboids too? find myself aching a little there.
Hi Zach, do you have any particular exercises for biceps tendinitis? I have tendinitis in my long biceps tendon and both my scaps are winged.
Hey Zack have you treated anyone with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome before?
Thanks for posting what you do! Super appreciated!!!!
My shoulder dislocation and winged

@@4m470you think gmnastic rings could also be an alternative? Although it would be two arms at once
L-Sits are also a great way to train scapular depression
When I do the one arm row and push the shoulder down, I feel and see my scapula pushing itself out towards my back. How can I prevent that?
I am experiencing the same thing.
Isn't the teres major an internal rotator?
Lol - the aggressive cramping Im getting down my back doing these is fantastic.

My shoulders are rounded due to scapular winging (extremely) could you please guide to bring it back to normal
And my left side is more elevated then right side because my left scapula is winging
