Took me awhile. If you're having issues on mac, I used another windows 10 computer. Also, change your wire, some wires only provide power, not data. (you may see a blue light flash when you put it in, but that's because it has power, you need to make sure your computer can recognize it by using a wire that also transfers data.) Sometimes restarting completely can help as well.

This is kind of misleading. It doesn't actually jam the wifi radio signals, it only sends deauth packets (and others).
Hello! Nice project and tutorial! Just a question. If the esp is acting as an Access Point and the phone connects to it, how is it able to perform all the other wifi functions like scan, deauth etc? Isn't the connection to the phone lost?

press clone or download (green color) and download zip.
Now in arduino app press scratch . Then include library and then incude zip and then include the zip file downloaded from github(u may find it at downloads).Hope that helped :)

The usb killer featured, which is a small step up transformer and a small cockcroft walton multiplier does precisely FUCK ALL. It doesn't work chaps.
cornz38 it can definitely kill stuff with old or cheap usb chips. especially older ones dont have ground clamping diodes to avoid overvoltage.
for those that cant get it to connect you need to flash it with NODEMCU flasher on a different com port

If you do, it only proves that you didn't understand anything of what this project stands for. 1 Go to the SDK_fix folder of this project
2 Copy ESP8266Wi-Fi.cpp and ESP8266Wi-Fi.h
3 Paste these files here packages > esp8266 > hardware > esp8266 > 2.0.0 > libraries > ESP8266WiFi > src
4 Open esp8266_deauther > esp8266_deauther.ino in Arduino
5 Select your ESP8266 board at Tools > Board and the right port at Tools > Port
If no port shows up you may have to reinstall the drivers.
6 Depending on your board you may have to adjust the Tools > Board > Flash Frequency and the Tools > Board > Flash Size. In my case i had to use a 80MHz Flash Frequency, and a 4M (1M SPIFFS) Flash Size

Seems like you don't really hack into wifi with this. You can just deauthenticate everybody from a wifi network that's all
Ikr but I just want to know how it breaks security protocols... Deauthenitication is something dangerous e.g. for bigger networks.
As far as I am concerned you can deauthenticate every device over wifi, there are no security measures in place to prevent this (I don't know if this would even be possible)

So bro, I did all of it a few years back and built the wifi jammer exactly how it's supposed to be, but it never worked. By that I mean the interface worked, the beacon spams worked, but neither deauths work. Not with APs not with Clients. So I fired this baby up again and the exact same thing happens. It just doesn't kick anyone from my network. It says its sending packets, up to 75pkt/s, but doesn't ever disconnect any device from it. I have messed with my internet server, I don't remember if I installed a DDoS protection though. Maybe thats the problem, but iont know so if someone reading this please reply, also pretty faded rn

"You can use this jammer for every network that you want" Nope. Jammer only jams 2.4ghz, so all 5ghz networks won't be affected.
In the Instructables video I see that you downloaded the Arduino file but cannot find where the "wifi jammer file" that I see in the top left of your screen that you click on came from. That is not explained, or I cannot find it, please assist. thanks

Have you read Huhns disclaimer asking not to call this project a Jammer? Yeah that's right, just download and flash- don't read. Typical:
*It is not a frequency jammer as claimed falsely by many people.

My PC is on Windows 10 and it WONT connect to the "pawn" network. It is in a loop to attempt to find network requirements. NOTHING else can connect to it! Is there a fix for this?
