I'm hearing more and more people say they are quitting their jobs to do RUclips full time. It is a mazing the transformation of the entertainment industry within the last 5 years. Personally, I have quit watching traditional television. (with the exception of the local news) Now I spend the majority of my spare time watching exactly the things I want to on RUclips. Not what someone else wants me to watch, but what I choose. It has become more and more apparent that the things we have been force fed for many years has been tainted with bias. So ya'll keep it up and I will keep watching. I appreciate your time and effort.
Man, that is the perfect start to a restoration, as much or as little as a person would want. Congrats to your dad!
Enjoy this channel over the ones with overbuilt super cars. Just common sense simple builds.
I'm going on 80 years old and have worked on so many different vehicles, from bugs to 45' charter coaches, but now physically unable to do almost all of this that I loved doing. I absolutely enjoy your podcasts. I really enjoy watching watching the miracles you perform. I will follow you in all of your upcoming adventures .
That has to be sooo satisfying to drop it on its tires to fire it up and drive it. Great save of a cool car. Congrats for dad's retirement!
My dad has passed, so I'm so happy for you to be able to work with you pops!
Congrats on the channel growth and your new "employee", it's great to see these old cars being saved when we live in such a disposable world.
And yeah, you definitely need a shop with a ramp!
Was a machinist inspector retired after 47 years. Your dad knows what we did. Operated CMM and performed 1st piece CNC set ups.
SO HAPPY FOR THE BOTH OF YOU Dynamic Duo 😁💟
Thanks so much!!! 😃😃
GREAT VIDEO B.B. ,, BARN FIND TO A GREAT CAR ...LOVE THESE VIDEO'S WATCHING WITH MY SON ,,LEANING ALOT ,,.. HAPPY RETIREMENT!!!!!!!!!!! DAD.. GREAT ENGINE OVER HAUL ..THEN MORE PROUBLEMS TRANS WOW!! GAS TANK.. GREAT BRAKE TIPS,,..COYOTES ,,,, GREAT JOB THAT CAR IS LIKE NEW!!! THANK'S PART 3..
@1:45 congratulations to your pops for the retirement, im Honestly new to the channel from the beginning of this build and i thought that was your brother when you introduced him before yousaid my Dad, keep busy Dad and you will always be happy you slow down now and everything will far apart, i watched all the men that helped raise me become retirees and the ones that didn't find stuff to keep them busy didn't make it long, so keep going Sir
That's awesome news. You are really lucky to be able to work with your dad on these projects. This little Ford sure shined up nice.
👍👍👍👍💣💥
Nice! That was my first car back in 1978… Pro tip… use 1/4 inch vacuum hose on the bleeders into a can or jar when bleeding. Saves the face and mess. 😊
Even more pro tip: use clear vinyl tubing instead... it's easier to see what's going on when you can see what's going on. The last time I checked, you can buy it by the foot from home improvement stores such as Lowes or HD. Best wishes!

Yall are doing a great job so far bring her back to life, @43:15 one thing that would make her look amazing, drop her to the ground all the way around, i have seen them as tail dragers and its a ok look but low and slow with some bellflower tips running the back quarter panels for Exhaust👌
I'm in the middle of a multiweek get-it-on-the-road revival of a 1949 Ford F-6. Got the ole flathead running with fresh ignition system, fresh fuel system, headlights and taillights, somewhat finished 12v conversion and am now doing the brake system. I wish my wheel cylinders were 10 bucks, the fronts were 35 and the rears 44 each. Someone put the rear shoes on reversed and it had brand new front shoes. I'm kinda glad the rear cylinders both blew out as it forced me to find a multitude of issues with the brakes all around. It is shows like this that keep me motivated to push on. Keep up the good work :)
CONGRATS CHRIS!!!!!!I I am 54 and am semi retired,,have a great time with your son. and we look forward to the trip
Nice cars. Nice people. What's not too like!
Congratulations to Chris on being at a point where he can join the channel full-time now, that is awesome news! 😎 Love how you all have brought the Fairlane back around so much already! 🥰
👍👍👍
She looks and sounds beautiful. Great job.
having been wrenching for 30 years i thought it sounded more like converter bolts came loose..it was a little too loud and clear to be a rod knock...Congrats to your ole man retiring from the 9 to 5 to doing something he really seems to enjoy..this little ford is coming along nicely..cheers from Bama
Congrats Chris!
That car is so cool My grandfather had 1962 Ford Fairlane 500, the exact same car in Maroon color. I remember messing with the AM radio, 1968, I was 6 years old and he said don't play that horrible rock and roll.
Michael, love those old cars. I thought that metal knocking was the TQ converter bolts as I have seen that a few times in my old career. Noises can be misleading but it actually drove you to other potential problems to address. You saved another fine vehicle. Congrads to DAD! I am 72 now and still like to tinker when I can. What is going on with the Falcon? Any future love for it?
Fantastic news! Great to see the channel growing. Amazing content!
Thank you!! We’re excited for this new chapter! Thanks so much 😊😊
Love how you guys keep these cars all original; right down to the white walls; they should look the way they did when they were new !!
Congrats on your dad coming aboard
While you were yellin at those coyotes I was adjusting my screen because it went dark! 😂 Keep fixin up those old FORDS! Been a Ford man all my life. Can’t wrench anyone but sure enjoy watching you and your Dad fix ‘em!
I'm a relatively recent arrival, but I wanted to offer congratulations to the success of your channel. And I'm kind of blown away by how you got this old girl going again. Now, that interior will be a challenge, but you pulled off the '61 Ford some months ago so it'll happen.
Wow ! How great is that to have your Dad work with you all the time.
Just sat down to watch it. Having breakfast. Rob, Cairns, Down Under
I hope you enjoy! Hope you’re doing well bud!
Those early 60s Fairlanes are one of my favorites! It has a nice color combo too!!
That is good news. Your father "Chris" belongs there with you. He is such a cool dude.. I am happy for you both and them family..
Such a great series so far! Congrats to your father! Can’t wait to watch more!
I just found this series while I was looking for something else and I'm so glad that I did! My Grandparents had a 62 Fairlane 500 2 door, white with red/white sport interior. I had a basic 62 Fairlane 4 door - they had a better budget than I had in high school. Anyhow, that little 221 cu in V8 was the butt of a lot of jokes - it was so tiny back then. Today that displacement in liters is every maker's mainstay. 3.6 liter. This has been a walk down memory lane and I thank you!!
How cool to get dad working with you. My dad and i had no relationship so im very happy for you. It was very good going into the motor and finding that bearing issue which also saved an even bigger bigger issue the timing chain. I'm wondering if the flywheel was loose but im sure you checked and you had to use it to turn to each converter bolt. You need to get a couple G-men suits to drive around the neighborhood in that beauty. 😂✌️.
Put on Safety Glasses!!! DANG!!! The Fuel Tank is a perfect example of Rust and Dirt and Metal!! And the brake fluid too!! Also, rock back and forth when using a tap and also when removing a bolt…
Beautiful Car!! Great job on the repairs!!
An service pit would be a great addition.
True that!!
on the plus side you did replace wear and tear items that needed replacing. the joys of old cars go figure. glad for your channel content that your dad can be there full time. benpak or wildfire lift come step up and help there guys out!
That is SO awesome.
What a amazing opportunity to work with your dad.
Them rocker cover look way better in silver pal and that motors an absolute peach now you guy's rock.
Incredible how young your father seem to be. I almost watch it since the beginning and am so impressed what you can achieve, and the effort you put in it and the emotion you are able to transport to me as a follower.it keeping me motivated never to give up on my project car, a 1986 Porsche 924S. Thank you for your great content.greetings from cologne, germany
Ever since I came across your channel, I just can't get enough. Going through all of your videos ,and I just can't get enough. Always looking forward to the next one. Thank you, and God bless
Great subject matter on this video on a number of issues looked into and also being a car rarely seen now made this video even more enjoyable. Around 1970-72, one of my classmates (class of 1974) had a car exactly like this (except being light blue with blue interior). Until Ford made the push with the "total performance" Fords on the 1963 1/2 models, this car was more about economy and no frills low cost. After that push cars like this were more optioned out with the hardtop bodies, bucket seats, etc. Just subscribed. Thanks.
Really nice example. I was about 7 years old when that car rolled off the line. Congrats on your success with this car!
Congratulations to your Dad for being able to join you after all this time! I love watching all of your videos and kind of riding along while you bring back forgotten cars from the past! I really liked the 63 Galaxie sedan but this little Fairlane is cute as hell! Keep doing all of your informative videos! I learn soo much!
You are amazing! I love that car and congrats to dad in his retirement. Life begins the day you retire. Wherever you live it looks beautiful with lots of undeveloped land.
You deserve to support your family via your channel as you put in so much effort. Loved that scream when your dad flushed the fuel line!🤣
You and your dad doing very good restoration with love and passion, all best from Makedonija👌🇲🇰
Great news that dad is coming on full time! This was a fun project. Very nostalgic for me. My older brother had a '64 Fairlane 4 dr, when we were in high school in the mid 70's. Blue on blue. 289 auto. Looking forward to more saves!
It is so great to see it back on the road! I look forward to seeing you improve it even more. It's such a nice, honest little Fairlane 500.
Absolutely. Please don`t stop there. So much more to do....
thats awesome re you dad coming on FT - look fwd to the years BB. Thanks for all the entertainment.
This was my first episode and I really think you did well saving this car.
Congratulations on your retirement Chris. Been a subscriber from the beginning. You have no idea how much I appreciate what you and your dad do! Love watching the videos! Keep up the great work and keep the great content coming! God bless and stay safe.
That's a fine little car, an looks great for it's ago. Nice job guys 👍☺️.
A son of a machinist so at least you know how to fix twisted off bolts, nice job
I love those old fords! Am working on an old ‘49 8-N tractor. The thrill of hearing it run after sitting so long is indescribable. Enjoyed your presentation👍🇺🇸❤️
I’m happy for you and your dad. I worked with my dad for several years and it was a blast.
Beautiful little ford. Glad y’all got her back on the road.
Happy retirement Chris. More good times. Thanks guys
That’s one sweet Ford. Good job fixing the small stuff to get it running. 👍🏻
Congratulations on SO many fronts! First of all, happy for your Dad, and happy for you. You fellas make a great team, and I thoroughly enjoy the way you work on your cars - with great pride and passion. This Fairlane is such a BEAUTY! Once that interior gets gussied up, that is going to be one fancy Saturday night cruiser. Wishes for more steady content, and a super successful 2023 for the BB family! Cheers!!!
Congratulations Chris it's so good to see you and your son working together it's awesome

Great Rebuild !! Fantastic little car guys , Keep the Videos coming !!!
That’s great news and happy for two regular guys having fun. You two ham-and-egg it pretty good so best wishes on the future endeavor!!
I subscribed after seeing the first video of the 62. My first car was a 1 owner 62 that I purchased in 1974. Little 170 cube six banger, with 3 on the tree. She had a white top and red and white naugahyde interior. Loved that little car. Kept it during high school and first job. The most incredible thing was that it got 28 mpg on the road. Thanks for doing these videos and I'm looking forward to many more.
That tank! Holy cow. That’s unbelievable.
Congratulations to you and your dad,I think it's great you get to hang out snd work together. I enjoyed the journey on this build. Please keep them coming.
Thanks for sharing your videos, I lost my left leg a few months ago so I have been laid up watching RUclips, I found your channel and have enjoyed watching.

Right on I really enjoy y’all’s content. I be happy to see more of it. God bless
Keep up the great work. I'd like to see the Fairlane brought in. New pipes, cleaned up interior, and new carpet. Good luck.
Eeeyyy! So cool you can full-time work with your dad! ❤
Glad to hear your dad will be around! His laugh when sitting shotgun on the dirty seat was great. It sounded a bit like Frank Gorshin’s Riddler from the old Batman show.
Well done Mike and Pops, nice to see it working out on RUclips. Looking forward to seeing you both in the future....
Love these old car rebuilds
That’s great that and your dad can make things happen together
Well done Michael, Chris respect to you Chris taking the plunge . Gotta do one of dad's car as a thanks for coming on board .keep up the great content guys
Looking forward to “Dad” being able to help increase the cadence of content. BTW, congrats on his retirement! I retired in 2022 and have realized that retirement is greatly underrated.
Congrats budget build dad pray yall both have success
Well done. This really brought back memories of my first car, a 1962 Ford Fairlane (white with red leather bucket seats and a 3 speed manual) It had all of the same problems that your car had (and I bought it in 1967) Beautiful car but nothing but trouble. It was mercifully totaled when someone rear ended me in 1968. Great memories, though, as it was the car I drove when I first dated my wife of 51 years.
Love your channel as it reminds me of my dad who used to work on cars when I was a kid. I was always there to watch and help him and I sure do miss him. Keep up the great videos!
Man what a transformation! It’s looking beautiful and when you fix the muffler, it’ll sound even better! As always looking forward to seeing more updates! By the way congratulations to you Dad on his retirement soon! You both are gonna be a great team together!👌😎👍
Congrats, really enjoy your show and have not missed a one, this is great news for your family and your veiwers !
From the UK I think your channel is great love the attitude plenty of laughing with plenty of skill
This is awesome news!!!! Guys I'm so happy for you.
Great news about your dad. Good luck going forward.
I stumbled across your video on the Fairlane and it was gripping. I was amazed how nice the paint looked after you cleaned it up and it was great to see you and your dad just keep ticking things off the list until it was road worthy. You helped me remember that it isn’t necessary to have fancy tools and hoists to have fun in the garage. I have started to watch your 911 series and I am looking forward to the progress. Keep it up!
Clean little car. These year Ford's are so cute.
BEST WITH YOUR DAD!
Amazing. Once the car has been detailed and a new muffler put on it is going to be a gem. A job well done !
Great news! Always enjoy your Dad!
